PCOS, metformin & chemical - can someone give me hope

I have been ttc my second for about 3 and a half years, I was finally diagnosed with PCOS about 6 months ago after asking my gp for tests for a very long time.
I was prescribed 2000mg of metformin per day and after taking it for a month I found out I was pregnant, I was over the moon but it was short lived and a couple of week later I started to bleed and the tests were negative.

im so worried it’s going to take another 3 and a half years to conceive again. Has anyone been in a similar situation and gone on to conceive again quite quickly? Or has it taken a while?
i feel so sad at the minute and just need a glimmer of hope

I am sorry for your loss. 💐 It seems metformin was what helped you, and you weren’t taking it before so it shouldn’t take 3 years to conceive again. The metformin should continue making it easier for you to get pregnant again. While it is sad, it is hopeful to know it has worked, so it’s very positive that it will work again
