4DPO. Am I going crazy or is there a line?!

Hi, I don’t totally know why I’m posting…. I’m 4DPO (I think), and TTC our third child. I just did a first response early test for no particular reason… I know it’s far too early…. But I feel like I can see a really faint line. It appeared within the 3 minutes. I don’t know much about evaporation lines but my understanding is they usually appear later? This is our first month of TTC so I had zero expectations anything would happen. Maybe I’m imagining it. Can anyone else see something or have I gone completely mad?

I feel like I can see something but I don't what to get your hopes up! 4DPO would be too early... what method are you using to track ovulation? Could you have ovulated earlier? Xx

i was just feeling my cervix..! (Sorry TMI) and keeping an eye on cervical mucus. I had definite cramps on Sunday for a few hours which I was pretty sure was ovulation happening…. But it’s definitely possible it happened earlier. I know 4 days is crazy early…

4dpo is impossible to have a positive.

It's impossible that you'd get a positive at 4dpo unless you actually ovulated at least 4 days earlier than you think, so you'd be 8dpo. Implantation takes at least 5 days you see, so not possible. Do you have your dates right?
Also, Clearblue tests are infamous for evap lines, and this looks like it could be one? Sorry OP!

It’s completely impossible to show positive 4DPO, so either you ovulated around a week earlier than you think or it’s an evap. Honestly save yourself the heart ache and money and wait till the day you’re due AF xx

I think maybe it’s an evap line from what you’re all saying. I don’t think I could have ovulated 4 whole days earlier… I’d barely finished my period. It showed up within 2/3 mins and I thought evap lines took longer. But maybe that’s not the case… i know implantation takes a week or so… I know all the logic and I know it is practically impossible… weird. I really shouldn’t have tested!!

@elle18310 so far I have resisted re-testing. I’m currently 8DPO so still a little early I think. My nipples have felt quite sensitive and this morning I leaked milk completely randomly through my top (I stopped breastfeeding my daughter six months ago and this hasn’t happened before). Could be unrelated of course. I do have a feeling something is going on, but trying to hold off for another few days until at least 10DPO

@dwightschrutebeets they are 1.5 and 3… so it would mean three quite close in age, but that’s what we hoped for. How old is your little one? Fingers crossed for you too!
