I'm on 1st cycle TTC DC1 💕 Not done anything to track except apps this time but fairly convinced my Flo app was pretty accurate so 🤞

@DarkCrystal85 hey! Sorry I've been AWOL for ages! I've been ok, sickness was bad last week but I stopped taking my pregnacare and I think that was what was making me so ill! I went a whole day of barely eating 🤢 so I've cut right down to just folic acid and I need to get some vitD. I have my first midwife appointment on Tuesday! So excited! Hoping they'll give us the date for the scan then 🤞🤞

Oh that's awful about your baby 😔 how does that even happen? That's awful! Someone should have some answers for you!

Had our booking appointment and have our scan date booked in too 💕 so excited!

I'm so sorry. It's all been a bit crazy here. My daughter was admitted to hospital with RSV, adenovirus, Enterovirus and Rhinovirus and was really poorly.

How have you been now you've stopped the pregnacare? I'm on folic and vit d too, also been taking the baby aspirin since the first positive. I've been so nervous due to having literally no symptoms apart from sore boobs so we paid for an early private scan, I was measured and dated a few days behind LMP so I am today 7w2d going by dating scan. Baby was where it should be and has a heart beat. I don't feel like I'm totally out of the woods until handed a crying baby in the delivery room but I'm staying optimistic. My booking appt is on 28th x glad you've had booking appt, I found once I knew I had direct contact with a midwife last time I felt much better. Sorry again for being absent x

I've been much better since stopping the pregnacare, haven't had any vomiting since. Just on folic acid currently which I'm wondering if they will increase as my husband declared spina bifida in his family history at our booking appointment. I have a phone call with someone on Monday to discuss that.
Still struggling to eat much though, but hopefully things will start to improve before long! 9+1 now ❤️

Oh amazing, lovely that you've had a scan and it was all good! We decided to wait for the NHS one but omg what a long wait it feels like! So glad it was all ok.

Unfortunately my baby died over the last day or so, I woke up today with no symptoms but had a scan already arranged and baby was measuring right for today but no heartbeat. I am currently very numb and not quite sure what to do with myself. I am booked in for surgical management on Monday if I don't pass baby naturally before then. I can't believe this has happened again 😞💔

@Hotmalibu94 hi, sorry for delay. I've been alright, actually got the results back from the baby today and it turns out he had trisomy 15, so I've to have some genetic testing done to see if I have a hidden extra chromosome somewhere or if it was (as the consultant said it probably will be) an unfortunate one of abnormality. I've looked into it and I may have had a difficult decision to make at a later point had my body not made the decision. I've been told it happens during fertilization and nothing can prevent it so to stop trying to figure out what I did wrong. I'm hoping for the test and results from me to come back asap so I can know if I have 'balanced translocation' (extra chromosome) and if all is well I can try again. If not then I think I can try again and if it happens again they will look at IVF and check my eggs before hand. I just feel like I'm getting older really quick and if this is going to take years I'll then feel too old to even do it all. I'm 38 now, my wife carried our daughter at 39 but I still feel like getting my baby is such a tougher mission than I ever imagined.

@DarkCrystal85 oh I'm sorry. But like you said, I guess at least your body made that hard decision for you. Do you know when you'll get the results back?

I'm 2dpo on my first cycle TTC since the loss. I'm soooo scared but I was more scared to stop trying lol. Hope you are well. Sorry I've not messaged, I've felt in limbo since the loss and being giving to go ahead to try again. I'm still awaiting my own genetics results with the last baby having trisomy 15 so been told I will be high risk but I'm to call epu as soon as I get a positive and again go onto aspirin. Eeeek
