Hello ladies,
I was wondering whether I could find opinion on the toxicity of Thuya tree. We are about to move and the place has a big Thuya tree right next to bedroom and it also reaches the kitchen. I will certainly have to inhale when the window is opened. I am in first trimester and I am concerned as I have red about Thuya's toxicity and its endocrine disrupting properties. I know it is not pure oil , but still the tree is quite big and in very close proximity. Can anyone advice if it will potencially cause issues?

As long as you don’t eat it you should be fine.

However large conifers are not suitable for growing right beside the house, so I suggest that you get a tree surgeon to take it down. Then you can plants a few smaller trees towards the end of your garden and chose species that are more suitable for small gardens .
