Not sure if I'm posting in the right place but anyway... Little bit of background info, I take Microgynon and to be fair in the last few weeks I think I have missed a few. Also I generally don't have a week off every month, I usually do every 2 or 3 months instead.

Hadn't stopped taking them for my week off but all of a sudden Friday morning I wake up to unexpected blood in underwear and on bed (which has never happened to me before my periods always always start with first wee of day).

Anyway so I decided Id stop taking my pills for the week because obviously my body has decided it would like a period.

But ever since that initial waking up to blood there has not been a single drop, not even a touch of pink when wiping and it's now been 4 days since I last took pill (usually on the 3rd day of not taking the full period starts coming through).

I also don't have any cramping or other period symptoms I usually get. So I'm starting to panic thinking that the bleeding I had could have been implantation bleeding.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar while on the pill or otherwise?

Also if it was implantation bleeding when would be the best time for me to test (as I take the pill I have no clue when my period should be)

This happened to me sometimes while on the pill if I didn't have a regular break, it's probably just that. If you keep having bleeding when you're still taking it even with having breaks you need to go back to the doctor so they can try you with a different kind. If it is implantation bleeding, that usually happens 6-12 days after ovulation. I'd wait at least a week and take a pregnancy test.
