Hello ladies, I really am emotionally down now a days due to the fact that I just hit 30 and I have had 4 miscarriages with zero live babies. 31 in jan..

Doctors are unable to figure out what's happening, but say both my husband and I are healthy otherwise.

I just got a test result back after a vaginal swab was done indicating a possible BV. - does this affect fertility?

What are your ttc stories =] id love to hear them!! weather it be success stories or not, every pregnancy is cherished<3

So sorry to hear this. I have many friends who have for through this and this is what I know they have tested privately.

  1. Blood tests - sometimes there is a specific blood clotting issue. That has been fixed for quite a few women who've then gone on to have healthy babies.
  2. Immunes - more controversial but there is a whole world of immunes testing out there that you can do. Also called Intralipids.
  3. Dr Shehata - seems to the the expert on recurrent miscarriage. Based in London but it's well worth reading his papers or possibly meeting him if you can.

Hope that helps in some small way! X

Hi, so sorry to hear what you are going through. I've had three miscarriages (after fertility treatment) and I know how devastating they are.
Finally got pregnant naturally and was given progesterone pessaries for the first few weeks of pregnancy, to help reduce miscarriage. Thankfully, I carried to term - I have no idea if this was because of the pessaries, however there is no harm in asking if this is something that you can try.
Sending you positive vibes.

I’m so sorry for your losses 😞 x

I think BV has a very small chance of affecting pregnancies but usually it’s harmless. Are you TTC naturally?

Have you considered genetic testing? Sorry if you tried that already… I have friends who had 3 miscarriages & they got a screening panel done privately which solved the mystery for them (they now have a daughter through IVF)

I conceived successfully in the end through IUI with frozen sperm so I can relate to the struggle of the TTC period x

Good luck xx
