@CinderRosie well done on holding testing ! I tested at 8dpo with a BFN and now 10 dpo but holding until Monday at 12dpo to retest

@GoneAwayWorld that second one looks really promising. Maybe try a FRER tomorrow? Keeping fingers crossed for you ❤️

Ok I caved and POAS this morning. I’m 13dpo and AF not due til Tuesday. BFN :( I’m not giving up just yet though, I have a whole load of symptoms and feel pregnant if that makes sense?

Hi hope you don’t mind me joining this thread. I was wondering about ovulation and if anyone has had this. I sadly had a miscarriage at 9weeks last month, so am desperate to get pregnant again right away.

I heard about hyperovulation after mc, so I went straight to tracking at day 12 post mc I went from a negative to a positive ovulation test. This continued for 4days and we bd a couple of times until the test went negative again. Around the time I expected my period I got a feeling my period was near: tired, moody, tender breast and hungry. I checked my cervix and it was high and soft. The next day I got crazy amounts of EWCM I went and got an ovulation test again and it was positive on both tests. We decided to bd again that night but about an hour before I got pain on both sides rather than one. When i checked my cervix it seemed harder and slightly lower than the day before.

I’m just so worried we missed it by an a hour or two. Im so pissed off I had so little indication until I happened very quickly and my cervix got tight.

Can sperm get in if the cervix is harder if ovulation just happened? I hear it takes sperm time to get up there and eggs only live for about 12hrs, but I’m not sure why my cervix went so tight so early. I’ve heard that after a Mc my cycle might be off but I didn’t expect it would seem like i ovulated twice and happen so suddenly.

Any advice as I’m super upset I think missed a perfect chance. I’ve been ttc for a while now, and this was the most strongest sign I’ve had of ovulation yet 😠

@HyggeTyggeDotCom if my test at 12 dpo Monday is a BFN I think I’d give up on this cycle but in a way you are so right sometimes we also slightly miscalculate and as long as AF in not there there is always hope!! I don’t particularly feel pregnant but then again I didn’t feel like it either the first time around so who knows!

@Kitty12345678 welcome to the thread and so sorry for your loss. Re ovulation, when you ovulate the egg can last for up to 24 hours I think, so you should be covered if you did just ovulate when you dtd and cervix should still be open. After MC it can take a bit of time for everything to settle again. I had mmc in January 2021 and I remember well the absolute desperation to get pregnant again straight away and I really struggled when it didn't get pregnant again immediately as I assumed I would. It took a couple of cycles but then did conceive DS. Wishing you all the luck and baby dust to you x

@Pandabumbles thanks so much for your reply. So sorry to hear about our Mc too. It’s the worst as you feel back to square one again after so much hope. I’m glad to hear you conceived again. I really hope it can last for about 24hr.

It’s just so confusing as anything I read online is contradicting. Some say if you bd on the day of ovulation you have less chance as you could have missed it if the sperm isn’t waiting for it. Others say when you get the ovulation pain it’s just about to happen.

It’s really hard right now if my husband is very depressed after the Mc and his mum is close to passing away, so he won’t BD every second day. Tracking is stressing me out but it’s the only way. I feel I need more precise ways of testing as the ovulation strips aren’t giving me any buildup to ovulation, then surprise ovulation. Temp tracking is a nightmare too 😔

@Kitty12345678 poor you sound like there's so much going on for you and DH right now. Completely understand about feeling back to square one. Try to remember it only takes one sperm and plenty of people have got pregnant from dtd once in a month. I know what it's like though when you're trying to do everything you can! We've only managed a couple of times this month because we're both knackered. If you think you've ovulated and bd very recently you're probably clear to call it a day for this month and see of AF comes along to take pressure off yourself. We'll actually be in the TWW together! Be kind to yourself!

@Kitty12345678 I'm so sorry for your loss. I had an mc at 8 weeks in March and I've also been obsessing about getting pregnant again. We did everything right with my first ovulation after the loss but weren't successful and I was devastated. I think it's normal for us to transfer a lot of the emotion around the loss onto ttc again. I'm currently in my second tww post mc and feeling a bit calmer than first time around.
It sounds like you and your dh are dealing with a lot. I hope you're able to be kind to yourselves and look after each other in this difficult time.
I understand that dtd up to 5 days pre ov and 24 hours post ov can work so it doesn't sound like you should be worried about bd timing. Good luck this cycle, baby dust to you

How are you holding out for tomorrow?!
I keep feeling like I have dull period pains so reckon ill be disappointed tomorrow. Might not even bother and just wait for AF

Hi ladies, could I please join? I’m 3 days out from my AF, not 100% on that as I can have 28-32 days cycles. I’ve been burned so many times with evaps as you’ll see on other threads. I took a Tesco cheapy today and this came up in the time frame which is 5min as per the instructions.
can someone please clarify for me, I don’t trust any tests anymore after so many dodgy FRERA 😕
I have my fingers crossed for you all. It can be so hard every month holding out hope😔

@Caths456 i’m not sure how sensitive the tesco ones are. I definitely see something but it isn’t clear enough to be certain. I’d probably wait 48hrs then do one with FMU. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Thanks so much for replying 🥰 they’re 25mlu, I specifically searched for an indent line too before I took it and they only one I could see was the control line… it is def pink in person but I think I’d have to wait 3-4 days for a digi if I was positive.

@Caths456 i think that’s a really good sign on a 25 then! My first BFP with my son was similar and that was on a 10 :)

I had negative first response tests but I haven’t used one since Thursday. I guess it might be positive if I am by now? I’m not sure. I def feel a bit off, very cramps for qell over a week now which is unusual ?

so do you think maybe it’s not an evap? There’s 100% colour in person hut just not sure if it’s an evap? I know it’s not an ident. I’ll try get a digi today and use it tomorrow maybe?

I remember being frustrated about mine and almost wishing I hadn’t tested at that point because it wasn’t conclusive, but equally, now I’m TTC again I know I’ll do the exact same thing every month. So impatient 😆.

Right? Every single time. I was oblivious with my first until like 3/4 days after my period and went straight to a digi and showed pregnant 1-2… the second time Around I had the faintest positive around 12 DPO?
this time I don’t even know 😂
