1dpo, anyone else? 😊

Hi guys, just looking for some cycle buddies. This will be our 3rd cycle hoping for that BFP 🤞. I think I'm either ovulating today or 1dpo... I got my darkest opk yesterday morning (CD13) but we had my sons birthday trip away camping so I wasn't able to repeat the test to see if I got my peak in the evening. I'm presuming I would have. I haven't had a temp rise yet, so I think I'll get one tomorrow if I ovulated today. It's all a bit confusing 😅. Anyway, it'd be cool to have someone to wait with!

@pinkandredflowers thank you! I hope I have actually ovulated, I'm going to keep testing and make sure I don't have a second surge. If my temps keep rising that'll make it clearer too. We BD'd today too just to make sure 😅🤞
Do you temp chart? Yeah keep testing and I'm sure they'll darken soon, what CD are you on? And are you testing twice a day? Apparently afternoon is the best to detect it I read recently... Hope you get answers soon 😊

@ABLOSSOM yeah I can imagine that must be so frustrating, have you heard of vitex/agnus castus, I've heard that's meant to be good for irregular cycles? Looks like you've been doing everything as well as you can so really hoping you get your BFP this cycle! 🤞AF is due on the 10th of June for me so quite a wait. I'm frustrated I wasn't able to test opk on the Friday evening so I'm going to keep testing just incase I get a 2nd surge 😬 hopefully my temp will continue to rise! 🤞

@Pinkmoon23 I haven't been temping this time. It's only cycle 1 and so I was meant to be very chilled (but couldn't help with the OPKs!). I will next time if we don't get lucky.

CD16 today and was expecting to ovulate tomorrow. I have tested 3 times already today 😂 it's getting a little darker so maybe I'll peak tonight/early tomorrow and can then have a final try before work on Tues!

How did you decide it was time to TTC for another? I always wanted 2 or 3 children until I was pregnant and it made me sooo ill. Struggled with a newborn in lockdown too so we were pretty sure we would actually stop at 1 but recently have changed our minds.

I never tracked my temperature when trying for my daughter.
We bd'd quite a few times around last ovulation and I'm sure that on the day we did it in the morning and night time but still didn't catch me. Can't do anymore than that really x

I'm so confused. My opk seem to be getting darker this afternoon. Does this mean I haven't ovulated or is it just up and down because of the dilution of urine/time of day?

@Pinkmoon23 I'm not sure if you ovulated on CD13, that doesn't look as dark as the control line but it could just be the photo x

@Angelselevenx hey, yeah it wasn't quite positive but verrrrry close in person. Then unfortunately I wasn't able to test in the evening as we were camping for my sons birthday. So I'm presuming that would have been my peak that evening, ovulated day 14 as my temps rose day 15. CM seems to be drier too. But now I'm getting darker tests again I'm not sure... I guess I'll just keep testing and see if I get an actual positive?

@Pinkmoon23 sorry yes you did say!! Well with the almost positive and the temp rise I'd say that you could've then! Hopefully your temp goes up again tomorrow 🤞🏼 that should confirm it for you

Is anybody else trying for their third? My chances this month are tiny as it was sort of an accident and I'm already panicking at the prospect of a positive. At the same time I'll be really disappointed if the test is negative though, ha

@Angelselevenx haha yeah it's so hard, I'm so impatient and obsessive anyway so not a good combo 😅 At least we have this chat to help!

@pinkandredflowers fingers crossed you'll get your positive opk soon! I've realised I think it's actually quite easy to miss the peak as it can happen when you're asleep 😅🙄. If yours are getting darker that's a good sign - keep us posted! Sorry to hear you weren't well with your first pregnancy, how old is your son/daughter now?

Well (over sharing time 😂) my son I had when I was 27 and I wasn't in a very good nor healthy relationship to be honest. He's now 7, (little love of my life 🥰) me and his dad broke up 5 years ago - and I've been with my current partner whom I'm so happy with, the relationship is great and healthy, he's an amazing step dad to my son. Things took a while to settle with coparenting with my ex. But now finally in a place where me and DH have decided to start trying, my son is so excited at the prospect of a sibling - even though there'll be a 7-8 year age gap I think it's good timing and I'm so excited for it all! ❤️ I'm 35 in September though so I'm not getting any younger 😅

Aw I've been there before - do you think you're hoping for a positive more than a negative? It's hard when you're in two minds but exciting all the same 😅

@Pinkmoon23 oh definitely hoping for a positive. We had been talking about trying for a while but couldn't quite make the decision. If it happens it's a conversation we won't have to have again! I've got a 4 and a 2 year old so I'd definitely have my hands full

@Pinkmoon23 it definitely Is easy to miss the peak. I got a high ratio before bed, peak first with fmu then a low with smu!

Hi everyone - this is my chart this morning. Temps still high which is good - but I have had no symptoms and 8DPO.

Does anyone know how many days before AF temps would drop if negative?

@Natbelle I was feeling some dull pressure yesterday (4dpo), but after my section I'm very sensitive to changes in my lower abdomen, so I don't make anything of it.
I'm 5dpo and symptom free today, not happy 🤣

@MrsLully I'm 5DPO too! I also had pulling sensations yesterday and a few cramps this morning since I've got up but not much else bar creamy cm. When is AF due for you?

@Angelselevenx Im supposed to get it around the 7th, but I'm normally always a bit late. Creamy cm is a good sign, I do remember it from my last pregnancy. I do think I'm out this time around

@MrsLully ah okay so your AF is due a few days after me, I think I'm due 5th/6th this cycle but not sure if it'll be on time as I O a day earlier this month.

I had a CP on cycle 2 (this is cycle 4) and I checked back on my apps and I logged creamy cm then too so I can only hope but it's just still so early isn't it! How long have you been TTC? Sorry if you've already said x

@Angelselevenx don't apologise! I am not technically trying to conceive actually. We were talking about the possibility of having another one (our 3rd) but hadn't actually decided. Then we had an oopsy 🤣
Obviously now I'd love to be pregnant, but it's a long shot!
It all looks promising for you, just an eternity to find out. Gosh the wait to test kills me ha

Do you temp or anything? My temp dipped yesterday at 4DPO which I think is normal but gone back up again today. Trying to not read into it to much but I'm not very good at that 😅🤦🏽‍♀️

Ahh that's lovely and so cute that your son is old enough to understand and be onboard. I have a similar age gap with my sister and it's amazing now we are adults! Fingers crossed for you!
