No more EWCM but not yet ovulated? Very confused...

Hi everyone. I'm feeling so stressed this cycle with trying to figure this out... Any help would be so appreciated. So Tuesday CD10 and the morning of Wednesday CD11 I had wet/EWCM but unfortunately hubby had to work away on the Mon and Tues. So we only were able to BD evening of Wednesday CD11, by which point things felt quite dry for the days that were meant to be my fertile days. Opk's showing negative so far and my bbt hasn't spiked yet. Cervix is high,soft and and open... But I'm just really concerned I already ovulated and we've missed it - as I've read once CM gets drier ovulation has occurred. Or if I haven't ovulated I don't have enough fertile CM to help the sperm survive when I do...

Sidenote: I have thyroid hashimotos and have been quite flarey the last few days so this could contribute to the dryness potentially...

Just wondering if anyone knows what's more reliable for knowing when you ovulated: CM, opk or bbt charting?

Opk sticks worked well for me. I always got my spike afternoons at 2pm/3pm so that's when I'd test.

That being said, I could have a few days of ewcm, think I was about to ovulate then it would disappear and turn up again a few days later then I'd ovulate. Sometimes ovulation can delay itself (especially if stressed).

@FernGully43 thanks for your reply, maybe that's what's happened with me. I've been unwell so maybe it's delaying it. I've been doing opk twice a day but not so much in the afternoon. Between your days of ewcm drying up did you have anything else or just mainly dry? (sorry if tmi! 😅)

OK my opk is twice as dark this morning, still no temp rise so I'm pretty sure I haven't ovulated yet. I was so concerned I'd missed my peak but it's close to positive this morning so I think later today or tomorrow it'll be positive. Phew. 😅
