Would ultrasound see anything on cycle day 23?

I had to go for an ultrasound yesterday (transvaginal) to check for any reasons why I may not be conceiving due to endometriosis.

I was cycle day 23 and During the scan all the sonographer really said was that my endometrial lining was 12mm which would be expected for coming to the end of my cycle. She never said anything about seeing anything relating to what may be a positive pregnancy this month.

Stupidly I forgot to ask her whether there was any indication of a pregnancy there but I imagine if there was she would have said, so am I to assume that AF will arrive in the next few days again, or is 3 weeks and 2 days since my period not far enough to see anything even if I was pregnant?

Clinging on to any glimmer of hope!

No, you would not expect ultrasound to pick up any signs of pregnancy when you haven't even reached the end of this cycle.

So no news just means (way) too early for news. Good luck!

@mauvish thank you! I figured there would be no way you would see anything resembling a sac yet but I wondered whether there were any other indications on the lining or anything that would show implantation!
