Me and my DH have been trying to conceive baby number 2! I have had very irregular periods up until 23/04/2023 where I had a normal 5 day period with bright red blood! Unfortunately I don’t think this month was our month but anyway….. my period was due Sunday and on Sunday I had really bad period cramps and thought it was coming… on to Monday I still had bad period cramps but when I went to the toilet and wiped I had pinkish/brown spotting no pad needed but this lasted all day (again only when wiping) Tuesday the spotting/bleeding became heavier that I needed a pad and had to change it through out the day and same as today pads needed…. My only reason for this thread is the blood isn’t bright red it’s dark brown (like old blood what you get at the end of your period)… I mean I had all the symptoms of my period coming cramps and are currently on day 2 of fairly heavy bleeding that I need to change pads 3 times a day! Has anyone else had brown blood on their period instead of bright red! Is this normal??
