Can lightening crotch be a sign of ovulation?

As the title says…. Today on cd19 of first cycle ttc, I am getting on and off shooting pain in my vagina…. I usually get ovary pain but lightening crotch is a new one (had it in pregnancy before but not ovulation)

I will keep testing LH but just wondering if any ladies experience this?

I actually had this cd19 this cycle too! Didn't use OPK's this month but it was around 2 days after ovulation so funny we've both had it!

@Harriet669 how weird! I have been doing at least 2 lh tests a day and no sign of a surge so I hope I haven’t missed it but will dtd tonight too just incase!

Very weird indeed! Absolutely no harm in making sure! I'm not cd 29 and waiting to see if AF comes, I was hoping it was a good sign 😂

@PeeBeee how are you getting on? Anymore symptoms?

I don’t think I’ve ovulated yet but think my body is trying or gearing up for it and I have turned into a serial Ovulation Tester 😞 how are you?

@PeeBeee I find it hard to actually catch peak on OPK's, Farley get a clear positive, my gynaecologist said not to worry as I had having ovulation symptoms and they said some people l have a very small tone period in a day where they will actually show a peak on the tests
Have you tried temping?
My af is due tomorrow at the latest so just waiting to see

@Harriet669 I usually am able to catch it… wasn’t until cd30 last cycle, I am just being very impatient in this first cycle ttc😅

i tried bbt’ing in the past but it stresses me out even more! Going to try a few cycles withouting going down that route!

I am starting to get a niggly feeling so hopefully will have ovulated by the end of the week!

Mine was like this during this month . Been tracking a while and first month TTC it decided to play silly buggers!
peaked fast out of nowhere really, previously been gradual increase over a few days!

I am getting light cramping and light lower back pain but ovulation tests still low, really hoping over the next few days!🤞🏼

@PeeBeee it was a sign for me, got my BFP on Thursday, and app is saying 5weeks today 🥰 I had lower back ache and cramps for a few days too!

cd25 still no peak detected. Woke up with a banging headache, extremely tired and nauseous so now I’m thinking could I actually have ovulated and missed it. I highly doubt I have though!

@Harriet669 I was away visiting the in laws today and was so tired I fell asleep on the way home in the car and woke myself up as I snorted, hubby was driving & pissed himself laughing and said ‘you’re pregnant’. I have been getting on off heartburn today (heartburn is what made me test when I got pregnant with my lg) & had a banging headache. Came home and lifted this out the bin after hubby saying he thinks I am pregnant and I swear I have a serious case of line eyes🥴

I took it this morning so I know it could be an evap and likely is as i honestly dont think i have ovulated yet. I would absolutely love to be pregnant without knowing I ovulated yet but it would he too good to be true lol

@PeeBeee aww don't worry too much as I didn't have anything other than faint lines on OPK's this cycle and still got a positive! I actually said to my fiancé, there's no chance this month as I haven't even ovulated!
I did get some of my head aches and EWCM for a few days but I think I actually ovulated the first day I had this rather than the last/after!
Think I can see something faint! I was CD 33 when I tested, maybe wait a few days 🤍

@Harriet669 yeah i am only cd26 today so even if by some miracle, I did ovulate and missed it with opks, id only be about 6/7dpo so way too early to tell!

going to treat it like I am still waiting for ovulation and go back to only testing twice daily, one late morning and another early eve! X
