OPK LH surge lasting less than 24 hours TTC

Hi,

looking for some advice really please.
Does anybody else track using OPK and have a surge only lasting around 12 hours. my results are negative CD11, positive morning of CD12, peak CD12 afternoon and dropping again CD12 evening. I have 21-22day cycles.

I experience what I believe to be ovulation pain which lasted a few hours on CD12 this month, confirmed with OPK.

we DTD Thursday (CD9) with LH negative, and again Sunday (CD12) evening of positive OPK. Negative OPK again (CD13).

Im aware the best way to TTC is to DTD every night, or every other night but we also have other factors at play.

Does anybody have any experience with short LH surges?

A surge is supposed to last a short time. There are some that have a positive still the next day but many get a negative a couple hours after a surge.
