Short luteal phase - any soy isoflavones success??

Hi,

I'm looking for something to help lengthen my luteal phase.
We have been TTC for 6 months now, I am quiet regular but ovulate quiet late (day 20-22) and have a luteal phase of 10 days.
I have had a blood test twice to check ovulation & my progesterone has read OK but low both times (minimum bracket is 30 mine has been 30 & 33).
I have read about taking soy isoflavones to stimulate ovulation a little earlier & lengthen luteal phase.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Could you recommend a brand?

Any other ideas / supplements are welcome!

Thank you! X

Hi @DentHyg I had the same issue, I had a 25 day cycle and ovulation on day 15, so a 10 day luteal phase. I took vitamin B6, and it made all the difference - first cycle using that I got my first ever BFP. Don’t know if my cycle extended in length as there was no period to measure it by. That was last year, I now have a lovely baby girl

@FoodFann thanks so much & congratulations!!

Funnily enough I did start a high dose vitamin B complex last month & ovulated day 18/19 this time which is earlier for me.
I'm 3/4 days off my period yet but don't feel i'm getting a BFP this month unless i'm going to get a suprise. Fingers crossed though!

Another vote for vitamin b complex.
I conceived the first month I took it after reading about it on here… I ovulate around CD22 and have 31 day cycles so only a 9 day luteal. I conceived CD23 and now I’m 6 weeks pregnant :-)
