Is pregnancy in this scenario possible/likely?!

Username change and Im embarrassed to post this. Basically DH and I were messing around the other night (few drinks in) and he fingered me with cum on his hands (😳). I’m pretty sure I was in my fertile window as was very up for it (😳😳).

I am 36 and we have 2 kids who were conceived easily (cycles 1 and 3 when I was 30 and 33). We are not ttc now however, hence him not coming inside me. I don’t know why I didn’t realise the risk at the time.

Appreciate back in the days of teen mags this kind of thing was described as a huge risk, but it isn’t really - or is it?!

Yeah I think the MAP probably is the way to go for peace of mind. It was weds night so should be in time.

It is possible albeit low risk but i guess the risks is increased if its on the day of your peak fertility but still fairly low...hope all will be well and you guys get the outcome you want we all learn something new dont we...ive never heard of finger blasting just fingering lmao ill look it up

If you have already ovulated then map won't help

What?! The NHS website does not make this clear at all!

It says it’s thought to work by delaying ovulation but doesn’t say it will be ineffective if ovulation has happened…guess that’s implied but I feel like a clearer statement would be worthwhile!

I don’t know whether I’ve ovulated or not anyway (I think not as lots of cm today) so hopefully will work anyway.

I know! It's so crap how this is marketed (another lack of education/misogynistic women problem approach IMO). So if it doesn't work it's not your fault. But hopefully it won't be an issue, suspect you're low risk anyway 🤞

I had no idea this was the case. I’ve taken it and I don’t think I’ve ovulated yet anyway but I’m v glad I know for future now!
