Has anyone used the ferti lily and gel to increase their chances of ttc. 10 months and nothing :(

Hi.

My partner and I have been trying for 10 months to no avail. We have been using the Ferti lily and gel for the past 4 days.

Any success stories?

We are both 40 so time isn't on our side.

Hey so I'm 24 years of age and TTC baby number 2. We are in the first month of trying again

Luckily, I only I used the ferti lily cup one cycle and got my BFP.

I use ferti lily cup twice during my fertile window. On high fertility and and peak. I then got my BFP. I now have a 17 month old baby

Hopefully I get another BFP for baby number 2. I used the cup this cycle too. So let's see xx

The idea of the gel is to help the sperm swim to reach the egg as if your not getting much cervical mucus it can make it difficult and prevent them reaching the egg. However, if you read up on some of them they've tested after 10 minutes of sperms exposure to the egg and they say it dosent harm sperm but no information beyond that. I stopped using it for that reason as for all I know It could be harming sperm beyond the 10mins in clinical trial. I'm 37 and have tired just about everything. I've used all those gels , made no difference. I've used the cup aswell and to be honest it was so messy and fiddly. Trying to push it in lots of fluid which would include sperm came out. I think its just a faff. Unless your suffering from vaginal dryness I wouldn't bother wasting any money . Ttc with ovulation sticks and supplements ect is expensive enough.

We didn't use a fertilily but did use a standard menstrual cup post sex.
We usually had sex at night and then I would leave it in and remove in the morning.
We have conceived every cycle we have used it, 2 years ago which resulted in my son and 3 pregnancies since October 2022. (although two cycles ended in miscarriage and I'm now 11 weeks pregnant).

Prior to this we were trying for 2 years for my son and 18 months for this pregnancy.

I also started supplements in the cycles we conceived:bee propolis, bee nectar and royal jelly which I took from CD1 until ovulation and I definitely think that helped with more cervical mucus too.

Haven’t used a cup but used pre seed with baby 2 &3 and got pregnant the first time using it each time. Could be coincidence but seems unlikely to happen twice if a coincidence

Used conceive plus and it worked first time on 2 occasions
