Hi all, so I tested positive yesterday. I ovulated roughly under 2 weeks ago. But because I had a chemical over 9 weeks ago I haven't had a period yet and fingers crossed won't until after my baby is born. How far along am I so? The digital says 1-2 but obviously it's more when you factor in periods

Hiya I had the same, i got pregnant the cycle after a chemical. Clearblue shows 1-2 weeks from conception, so you basically just date it from 2 weeks before your ovulation date (it only works to date from last period if it's a 28 day cycle). When I went for first scan I gave them date of chemical as last period but i didnt ovulate until about day 29 after that - so from the date of "period" i should have been 10 weeks, but was showing as 8 weeks which is what I thought as being from 2 weeks before my ovulation date. Hope that makes sense!

See I didn't ovulate until 8 weeks after my chemical so I'm totally confused

That's normal and still fine to just count from 2 weeks before ovulation! So you're roughly 4 weeks pregnant now. Use a due date calculator and say your last period started 4 weeks ago. Book your docs/midwife appts accordingly, then you'll get a firm due date at 12 week scan.

Also try not to be too nervous post-chemical, I'm over 20 weeks now and everything has been perfect with this pregnancy.

Thanks everyone. I'm trying to really enjoy this. It's so hard. But I'll keep reminding myself how lucky I am.
