Hi All,

Really, really appreciate your feedback on this one! Had a chemical last month and miscarried 2 months before.

I'm 2 days before my period and got two positive test yesterday (quite strong) but then much much fainter this morning - hardly visible.

Anyone else had this but then gone on to be pregnant?? Really worried it's another chemical

I would wait a few days and then try a digital for a confirmed positive.
I’m not keen on the line tests as they made me incredibly paranoid in early pregnancy that I was losing the baby if the line slightly faded.

Thankyou @Glitterb so did the same happen to you but you turned out to be pregnant? X

No not quite the same. I just kept taking tests up to 7-8 weeks and they do fade at this point sometimes. A positive test, whether faint or strong is still a positive. I would wait until your period is late and then test with a digital so it is clear and probably don’t take the line tests.

I don't want to encourage you to over test because when I did it I think it made me spiral even more but essentially I found that my FRERs using morning urine were lighter than tests taken the previous afternoon.

I'm attaching a photo showing my tests at 11 & 13 DPO - each day I took one in the AM and one in the PM. I convinced myself I was having a chemical twice but wasn't. Now 36 weeks pregnant! Good luck x
