Implanting bleeding or period? (no photos!)

I’m really confused as to if I’ve had my period or implantation bleeding. Last months period was very late (15days!) because I was very stressed, but all has calmed in my life. Normally very regular.
This month, I wiped on day 24 and found pale pink thin liquid and I got hopeful that it was implantation bleeding! But the next day I had a mixture of the pink liquid and some bright red blood, but very, very light (almost spotting) and gave up hope. Pad had a small amount of bright red blood and some bloody mucus. Day 26 was the same as 25 without the mucus and today (27) it is just pink liquid spotting. I did a Clearblue 6 days early first thing this morning and it was negative.
Has anyone else experienced this? If yes, was it your period? I think I’ve given up hope that I’m pregnant, but now I’m worried that there’s something wrong as I’ve never had a period like this before, or that next month will be a write off as I haven’t had a proper period!

I’ve had that this month too, spotting for 3/4 days which stopped and I thought it was implantation bleeding but was also getting negative tests. Then my period unfortunately started the next day. There’s no way of really knowing, which I hate to say as I like to know everything 😂 best of luck x

@Goblet93 I had this back in February at 5/6 days dpo (or what I thought was dpo.) This was all that came of my period that month. I wasn't pregnant and still am not unfortunately, think I must not have ovulated properly that month so womb lining didnt thicken enough 😔

It's a rubbish ride really and all the guesswork about what's going on when weird things happen is unbearable.
