Very First TWW at 1DPO. Anyone in the same boat?

Hello Everyone! ❤️ This is our first month TTC and ive just hit my TWW after trying to navigate OPKs for the first time.

DTD CD8, CD11 and CD12 and i peaked CD11 (i think). I had my DD young, unplanned, and now im 30 im realising it isn't all that simple ttc 😂

Just wondering if anyone is in a similar boat? This two weeks is going to go so slowly and i'm expecting it to take quite a while to concive this time around!

Hi! I’m TTC #2, this is my first cycle of trying. I have one wonderful DD aged 14 months. I had 3 MC before her and 1 after, and will need to take blood thinners and progesterone for a hopefully successful pregnancy. I’m expecting TTC to take a while, although we did have a whoopsie in November, that ended in MC. I’m 2DPO, so very similar to you. I’d love to join you for the TWW.

Yes, please join me! Ive had awful ovulation cramps for the past 3 days because ive been focusing so much on OPKS and ovulating. Every ache seems magnified and two weeks seems such a long time suddenly 😂

I’m a very similar situation to you! We had our Daughter unplanned 8 years ago and this is our first month TTC after a MC in March. I’m also now 30 and didn’t realise how intricate it all is 😂

Also my first month trying OPKs, but then I forgot to take them away with us CD14-16 but I believe that’s when I ovulated as I had pink tinged discharge on and off for two days and period type cramps! So that would make me around 3-4DPO now, hopefully 😂

We really are in a similar boat, im having a nightmare trying to chart my OPKs even with this app😂 Its so bloody intricate. Im supposed to be 3DPO but my levels seem to be rising again, so at this point.. WHO KNOWS😂 Ive had period type cramps too, ive never paid this much attention to my body before.

How is everybody doing!? 6DPO today, ive decided next month (if this month results in a BFN) i'm for sure going to try monitoring my body temp! My OPK chart is very confusing because ive been testing at all different times each day. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Oh i hope we all strike gold and this thread is full of BFPs in a few days! 🤞🏼❤️

@CherryTreats23 I think I’m 7-8dpo today, if I even guessed ovulation right! No symptoms at all for me 🫣

8DPO and yes i thought i had symtoms but i've woken up today and they've completely disappeared.

Yesterday i was exhausted and felt really, really sick. I had cramps and gas and then for about 5 minutes a really painful pinching and pulling in the middle of my groin area. Lots of discharge (sorry tmi!) and my body ached so much i was shivvering. But today, no pains, no sickness but more discharge... i might have just been really run down.

I stupidly took a test this morning and a stark white BFN.

@CherryTreats23 Oh no :( Perhaps it was implantation though? So maybe give it a few more days and re test :) You’re not out until you’re out 🤞🏼

I have had absolutely nothing, not even a slight symptom!! I’ve picked up my early tests today but trying not to test until at least 5th 🫣

With my first pregnancy i had no symptoms at all. It wasn't until i was about 2 months pregnant that they kicked in. I remember having more sickness in my 3rd trimester than 1st. Do you remember having any symptoms with your daughter?

OOH, My premom app says test day is the 5th too, at least we are in it together!!

@CherryTreats23 Same here!! I was around 7 weeks with my Daughter that my boobs were sore and growing!! And then the nausea started 🤢 Then the same happened with our second pregnancy (the mc)! So I haven’t got much to go on until then by the looks of my symptoms!

I caved and tested earlier, absolute big fat negative 😬 Hoping it’s just too early so I’m saving the rest until after 5th too!

9DPO today and i also caved earlier when i told myself i'd wait🙈 my stomach and back feel really sore today. BFN at first glance but i dont know if my eyes are playing tricks, i can see a really very faint haze of a line in the light. You cant really see it on photos!

Going insane so im trying to forget about it and stay patient!!!

Looking at it on that photo it looks more like an evap line unfortunatly

I can see the line too, but it’s so faint you can’t tell if it has colour to it, or whether it’s evap.

I’d just carry on testing over the next few days and see if it’s getting darker :)

Yours looks super similar to mine @CherryTreats23 I'm also around 9dpo and it was also an easy @ home test.

I've nowhere with FRER near me so just waiting til tomorrow's fmu to see if it's any darker. Can you get hold of a FRER? They're slightly more sensitive.

This is cycle 2 of actively trying to conceive #1, although we havent been using protection for about 10 months. I'd be shocked if it'd happened this quick given my age (32) and weight (bmi just on the wrong side of 30).

I have been pregnant once before when I was about 18, ended in a mc just shy of 12 weeks, but I remember being so tired all the time I was practically slipping into mini comas, and I'm feeling that fatigue again now.

Im so sorry to hear about your MC. Have you retested again today or are you going to leave it a little longer?

Our tests look incredibly similar! I did another last night that showed the same faint line and another this morning that was BFN so i think mine were evaps or indent lines.

I also think i haven't even bloody ovulated! I had really strong ovulation pains too so i was convinced i did, however i took abother OPK this morning and its higher than my previous "peak". The highest reading i've had so far! And my period isn't due for a week so who knows whats going on!

@CherryTreats23 I have tested again this morning and the same line appeared.

Curious as I am, I also dipped one in water and another one in tango (just as it's a similar colour to wee) and the same line appears. My little experiment confirmed that they're just evaps. Apparently these tests are notorious for them (and indents).

Doesn't mean we're not pregnant though! AF is due for me on Saturday, so I'll test again Sunday if no AF arrives. Your body can try to ovulate and fail and try again at a later point. Did you keep testing after the last peak? It can keep going up (or go up and down slightly and up again), or it could be picking up progesterone?

Sorry, I'm not really an expert in LH and BBT (not yet, at least 😅)

How annoying, it seems most tests have evaps or indents of some kind which makes the whole process even more stressful and confusing.

So we know now unless its a blazing pink line, not to get our hopes up then.🤦🏽‍♀️ I do love how you experemented with tango!

Im no LH expert either but ive just hit a 1.01 now with a really strong positive on my OPKs so i think i'll ovulate tomorrow or the day after? Im glad i kept testing, yup i contined to test after my false "peak" because my levels never really dropped to super low again! All my "symptoms" must of been my body really trying to ovulate. Ive been taking folic acid and apparetly that can make your cycles slower!
