Is there any point in testing after 11dpo if bfn?

Just that really.

BFN at 11dpo today, no symptoms whatsoever, stark white test.

I'm really pissed off today as this was a textbook perfect cycle. DTD all over my fertile days, positive opk etc.

Sorry for the misery post. I'm just sick of getting bfn but have no will power not to test.

Have you seen the stats. Most don't get a positive this early. Just wait.

Even people who undergo IVF aren’t told to test until 11 days post transfer at the earliest- that would equate to 16po! 11 days post ovulation is very early.

After countless negatives I now would always wait until AF late. It’s too depressing seeing month after month of negatives :(

I'm 11 dpo today too and also got a bfn this morning :(

Been googling for positive stories of 11dpo and bfn but then bfp later as well 😂

Thanks for all the replies. I suppose after being on here for a while and seeing so many bfps at 9/10 dpo, 11dpo just seems too late.

But I suppose we're not out till af arrives 🤞🏻

If you know 100% for sure when you ovulated and how long your luteal phase is, then yeah I'd say you were out if it's a BFN at 11dpo.

If you don't know when you ovulated then there's always a chance :)

@overthinkersanonnymus i feel your pain, I thought I really had it in the bag this month. Did everything right, ovulation test right dtd right around ovulation before and after. Had all the symptoms 2 days late for af. Negative test and started bleeding today.

im absolutely gutted, was 100% convinced I was going to get a bfp but nope! It just breaks your spirits little by little ❤️❤️

I always try to tell myself you aren't out until you bleed, but you aren't in until you are late and have a BFP. I had a BFN, stark white 12dpo last pregnancy. Didn't show a positive until 14dpo.
Give it another 2 days and try then.

implantation can occur as late as 12dpo so yes you are definitely too early. Try not to test until your period is late

Nope, in fact my period just started again today. Non stop BFNs for me I'm afraid :( I hope some of the others have had better news :)

Yes of course . It's not even recommended to test before 14 days past ovulation . I didn't receive a BFP until 15 dpo

Thanks for the update. Sorry @falsepositivenervous for the bfns hopefully soon you will have your bfp. I have also never had a bfp and its nearly 2 years now though not necessarily actovely trying all that time but was not preventing it either...gonna try resume fertility checks and been trying to get hubby to get checked too.
