Hi, i have been bleeding on and off since week 4 (now nearly week 7) of pregnancy. Have been testing very strong positives since week 5.
Waiting for my scan on tues and going mad.
Just wondered if anyone can shed any light on how long they tested positive after a chemical? And also if anyone else has bled on and off for THREE WEEKS?

Hey, have the tests gotten lighter? I miscarried at 14 weeks and was negative within a week. Have they confirmed no heartbeat etc already, have you lost clots? Your body may just be taking its time to get rid of the HCG hormone but there's also people like my mum... When she was pregnant with me she bled for weeks. At 16 weeks she contacted the doctor to see why she hadn't had any appointments yet and they said because we thought you miscarried... I'm 27 now 🤣

Are you spotting or very heavy bleeding?

Have you had bloods taken?

nabar2023 · 21/04/2023 12:22

@budgetbuster no they said they wouldnt do them (asked 2 sep GPs) as said i can have that nect week after my scan if needed. Id say its mainly spotting when i wipe but at times more drips out. Pain is low-nothing

Sorry for all the questions, but what colour is the blood? Bright red, brown, dark red? Lots and lots of people spot all throughout their pregnancy.

Hopefully your scan goes well, which I'm sure it will.

@budgetbuster dont apologise! Its been every colour to be honest... Mainly pinky watery but bright red and brown at times. Its quite stressful!

I had bleeding with my now 2 year old. Bright red like a period for 3 days solid! Right after my bfp, but he hung on in there. My tests kept staying positive too.

Fx for a positive result for you.
