Fertility appt next week, what to expect?

Hi, my husband and I have an appointment at the hospital next week for some investigation to look into why we aren't conceiving but our appointments are 20 minutes apart and not together, is this the usual? I had bloods done in 2021 which came back 'normal' and my husband had semen analysis in Dec 22 which was 'normal' so due to my age (42!) we have been referred.

Just wondering what to expect at this first appointment and going forwards?

It maybe varies from trust to trust, our first appointment was together and it was to talk about medical histories, personal info, blood test and an ultrasound for me. They are maybe just doing that separately for you? After that there was more testing for me and a repeat SA for my husband 3 months after the first. Then we moved on to treatment. I think they moved quite quickly really. Hope it goes well for you

Thank you, I’m a little nervous and anxious but praying this is our time. We’ve not used any contraception for 3 years😥
