Blood Test Results - Day 7 | Mumsnet

And as you can see, i'm in a bit of panic over the FSH reading. It was cycle day 7. (I'm currently on cd 28 with no sign of af)

Not ttc yet but want to very soon. But a reading of 12.6 FSH on cycle day 7 alarms me.

To add, always had a period between 26-31 days. Looked back at bloods from 10 years ago, I had an 11 for FSH on cycle day 5 back then.

I wouldn't say those results are alarming. I had my FSH tested on day 3 by a NHS fertility clinic I'd been referred to when ttc #1 and got the results 3 weeks later at consultation as 12.1, which the consultant said was higher than he'd like to see but that FSH fluctuates from month to month and can be affected by stress. However, that's the cycle I conceived my daughter on so it didn't prevent conception 🤷

For you though, you may expect FSH to be increasing towards ovulation so testing on day 7 may be a higher number as you're getting closer to peak?
