Morning! I’ll try keep this brief.

Using Flo, Premom and Apple heath to track - my Af was on 1/3/23 and due 28/3/23 but technically I am 15 days late today. Although the more data I’ve been imputting it keeps extending the days.

ive tested 3 times now all BFN - 1st missed day, 4th and then today. I’m on CD 43 and my cycles are normally 28-34.

im not bothered about having a BFN I just want my period to resume to try again. If you asked me I would have sworn I was pregnant though as k have had cramps for 2 weeks, dizziness and 3/4 days ago I’ve started with very sore nipples - which isn’t common for me.

I was previously using Apple Watch to track BBT and since switched as it’s inaccurate so with the change it looks as if peaked which js causing the date switches in my apps but obviously in accurate.

my cervix is high, closed and quite soft. I keep getting EWCM and have done for about 1.5/2 weeks..

can anybody offer any insight to what might be going on? I should add we DTD quite frequently last month, every other day for more than my fertile window because I think I ovulate late.

Sorry no experience but perhaps you should ask your GP for a blood test just to check you are not pregnant ? Not to get your hopes up but you never know.

cocolemonad · 12/04/2023 21:23

It could just be a random missed period? I had one the first month we started ttc #2 which was so annoying and the longest month ever. I've only ever had a missed period twice and definitely wasn't pregnant either time so it could just be random!

confused6789 · 12/04/2023 23:04

Hi, this month I randomly ovulated really late so my cycle is going to end up about 2 weeks longer.. If I didn't get ovulation pains I wouldn't have knew this is the reason as I don't track ovulation.

Are you sure on when you ovulated?

I've also have the same strange symptoms as you that are convincing me im pregnant but also still getting bfns

How on earth do you know that?

tobi21 · 13/04/2023 09:22

@KnickerlessParsons there's lots of info online about how to check your cervix and with practice lots on women can do it themselves

😬
Not sure I'd fancy that 🤢

It's frustrating because as soon as I start trying my periods delay which give my hopes up. I've been trying since November and I now have a period every 42 days when I used to be bang on 28 days. It's ever since I've started trying. Been to the drs, had tests done , all normal. Don't know if this is just my new cycle.

LolaStanley1 · 13/04/2023 09:55

You have to check yourself? Loads of videos online about it.

@AlviesMam its funny you should say that because I noted this last time, and definitely this time but as soon as I started TTC my periods delay, there must be something in this? I tried to research it but didn’t really get anywhere but found it’s quite common.

@confused6789 ive tried tracking my ovulation for 3 months, I never get a peak LH test but didn’t the first time either probably because I drink so much fluid. I’ve been tell tracking with Apple Watch but discovered this month it’s not accurate so switched half way to a proper BBT thermometer but I still BF my son so I wake frequently so not sure how accurate it all is.

I’ve had pains in my side ovary this morning which normally indicates to me impending period so hopefully it will show soon. My Flo app has adjusted to say I’m late today, whereas the others now say AF due 19/4 lol so at a lost. I’m on CD44. Like I said not bothered about a BFN just want to keep TTC.

Check yourself for what?

Sorry tagged the wrong person. I was on about cervix checking to @tobi21

I think when people get delayed periods when they start trying its to do with new supplements - have you started taking a new prenatal or anything?
Also, stressing about it really can make a difference so try to ignore it and I bet it will come within a few days. Happened to me when ttc my first and it drove me crazy! I hope you get an answer soon!

LolaStanley1 · 13/04/2023 11:38

i actually haven’t started supplements, I forgot and I was going to but read they could delay your periods.

yeah I mean, i probably sound stressed but i’m a fairly chill person so i don’t think it’s that im just looking to vent really. It’s just typical when we start trying this happens ha ha.

Well I’ve just noticed very very light pink EWCM so it’s either implantation and I’ve ovulated super late or impending period.

Jane1284 · 13/04/2023 15:23

Not related to your question but I notice you say you never get a peak on the LH test strips for ovulation. I had the same because I drink so much water. I know they say to test in the afternoon but I found testing with FMU started picking up my peak as it wasn't dilute from water. Worth a try.
Also for the BBT tracking, if you are waking for breastfeeding you may not get an accurate reading. I bought a second hand ava fertility tracker off ebay which wasn't too privey. As long as you have 4 hours of consecutive sleep it will record your temp. You can then put this in premon or even use the ava app. I found this so much easier than tracking with a thermometer. Good luck! xx

Thisisjustmyfaceok · 13/04/2023 16:32

I honestly could have written this post myself, I wasn't able to get my peak this month because of drinking water and wasn't super convinced I ovulated when my apps say I did. Now I'm 4 days 'late' with literally all the same symptoms you mention and all negative tests.

I hope you find some answers! It's driving me crazy xx

cornflakes86 · 13/04/2023 16:45

@LolaStanley1 i notice you have said you are still breastfeeding. Just a thought could it be related to that ? I used to get random ewcm all the time when breastfeeding

LolaStanley1 · 13/04/2023 17:01

@cornflakes86 💯 BF is causing most of my issues. It took 2.5 years for them to fully come back! If been trying wean my LB off but he’s a nightmare for it.
@Thisisjustmyfaceok its horrible isn’t it. I hate not knowing. Hopefully you’ll get your answers too.
@Jane1284 aw really, I used to use FMU and wasn’t until last month k found out aren’t supposed to. I’ve tried not drinking as much but I could swear I’m diabetic the way I drink lol

I’ve got quite painful twinges on my left ovary side now so only time will tell if its implantation

Update: my af has started, which I’m weirdly glad about as at least now I know there is nothing wrong. I hope the girls who are still waiting get the result they want :)
