Help pls. 9 days till af convinced I'm pregnant

Hi all as title says 9 days till my expected AF however im convinced I'm pregnant swollen tender breasts cramps lower back pain. Nausea. Just took a test and it was negative am I testing way to early or does this mean I'm out this month?!

You can’t test 9 days before your period is due. It means nothing. Wait 9 days and try again.

It’s highly unlikely an embryo has even implanted at this stage so you wouldn’t even be pregnant yet. The symptoms you’re experiencing won’t be from pregnancy. This doesn’t mean you won’t be pregnant, it’s just far too early

If you’re experiencing symptoms 9 days before your period is due they’re not symptoms of pregnancy!

Testing too early

Earliest you can get a positive is 6 days before period with a FRER (but they can still be negative then even if you are pregnant)

Thank you. I've got 2 boys already didn't plan for them they were our lucky accidents. Now I'm in my 2nd month ttc and it's driving me mad 😠 I know it sounds silly I just feel how I did with my 2nd

@Boymom9 is there a chance you ovulated earlier than you think and you are actually a bit further along than 9 days before your period?

@Boymom9 why cycle day are you on ? When have you ovulated ?

@Boymom9 I'm going to go on the example if you have a textbook 28day cycle and your af is due in 9 days you'd be on cycle day 19. Ovulation is generally around day 14 , but even in the event you ovulated early in your cycle that's still very early to be experiencing all those symptoms. Your egg has to fertilise then make the blastocyst journey through your fallopian tubes before implanting into your womb. The process can take 6-12 days at earliest . Hcg doubles fast but even still it would take another short few days for hcg to build up enough to be detected in urine. My guess would be if your experiencing those symptoms then they are not pregnancy related. You cannot test this early as even if you were pregnant it won't produce a result. Wait until the weekend and even thats early. Frer can detect 6 days earlier but even those don't detect a pregnancy for everyone that early

Hi thanks for your reply. I think I ovulated around the 4th going off temp and one step ovulation tests

If you're 8dpo then you could be pregnant I had symptoms from 8/9dpo

Realy? What day did you get your BFP ? I hate all the waiting around haha im so impatient

Faint positive on a FRER at 11dpo but I have 28 day cycles and ovulate day 14 so quite different to you I think

Ok I will try test again next week and see if I get that 2nd line

Good job you didn't have yours in the 60s, 70s. if you're impatient.
We had to miss 3 periods before you even saw your GP to get tested. No such things as home tests in those days, or scans.
