Help a worried ttc mum !

I am on holiday at the moment & in my 2WW TTC baby 2.

I’m due to take my pregnancy test in 3 days & im 11DPO. I am pretty sure I have conceived, symptoms I recognise!

stupidly (without thinking) I went on a water slide with my kids & it had an ABRUPT stop!! Immediately I realised I shouldn’t have, and now 2 hours later I have terrible tummy ache & small amount of spotting!! I’m petrified I’ve ruined things after months of trying!!

can anyone reassure me? I’m so stupid :-(

Sorry, no one can possibly know if it has affected a potential pregnancy. Hoping you get the news you want xx

I mean, any potential pregnancy is pretty well protected in your pelvis but nobody can tell, obviously.

At your stage the egg would be the size of a poppyseed and nestled nicely in your uterine lining. If ending a pregnancy was as simple as going down a water slide anyone that wanted an abortion would be doing that rather than taking very strong medication.

Either it's implantation bleeding or your period has come early, the abrupt stop has had nothing to do with it, don't beat yourself up about something that's not really happened

This op. You are thinking in to it too much. It is implantation bleeding or your regular period.

My first pregnancy, before I knew I was pregnant, I went horse riding and was unseated and that stuck so fingers crossed all ok for you

EarringsandLipstick · 11/04/2023 09:28

This won't have any impact on a successful pregnancy or not.

I got my BFP :-) thanks for the reassurance everyone. I know it seems silly, but I suffer with anxiety. X

Congratulations! Anxiety sucks

I was the same through my whole pregnancy, it took me until about 28 weeks to even consider the pregnancy would result in a live birth.

Try not to let it ruin yours if you can at all help it, speak to your midwife at your booking in appointment and try and get some help for it, I wish I had. All the best!
