What was your cycle like after a chemical

Hello

Early March I had a positive test after being approx 7 days late, and then started bleeding the following day so put it down to a chemical.

I assumed the bleeding was cd1, and bleeding lasted approx 5 to 6 days, was heavier than normal, alot of cramps (worse than my period) and i passed some clots.

After the bleeding stopped we continued ttc ( I have heard stories of people conceiving successfully following a chemical). After about 10 days, I started to bleeding again. First was just on a tissue and didn't fill a pad. After about 10 days of this I was getting bad period cramps and bleeding became heavier, like it is my period.

This has eventually stopped.
I am wondering if anyone has had a similar situation and how long it took for their cycles to become normal again? We don't want to delay ttc but obviously have no control over what my body does and at the end of the day as long as I'm all OK that's the important thing.

TIA x
