Ovarian cyst and follicle size

Hi
been trying for a while and have had 5 miscarriages. I was put on Clomid a few months ago. Went for an ultrasound on Friday (day 29) and was told they saw a cyst on my left ovary and picked up a 20mm follicle on one ovary. Day 29 is already a day lat for my period. Nurse says the follicle size suggests ovulation. Should I be worried?

Are you being monitored with scans on clomid, just wondering why you had one on cd 29? It is late for ovulation but the 20mm follicle could be ready to go.

I'm sorry for your losses, I've had 6 and doing a timed cycle with letrozole after a long break (spent all last year trying to do transfer an embryo which ultimately failed).

I'm not too sure about cysts as I've not had one but I think they'd say if they were concerned x

I am not being monitored with scans. They just randomly called me for an ultrasound. When you say follicle could be ready to go, what does that mean please..

Just that you could be close to ovulatio so it could happen soon. Do you get any cramps or discharge or anything?

No cramps or discharge.. can I ovulate when I am expecting my period?

If your ovulation is delayed then your period would be delayed. Did they see any evidence on the scan of ovulation, like the corpus luteum?

They didn’t say anything. The nurse just said 20mm follicle. I asked her why it’s this size when I am expecting my period and she hasn’t responded… am losing my mind..
