5dpo here, I think… I have the same issue as some others here in that OH really feels the pressure. We only managed once at the right time and once when he couldn’t finish. On the recommendation of someone on another thread we now have him on magnesium and maca root. He’s nearly taking as many vitamins as me! 😆
I like the analogy of our ticket being in the draw though! We’re going to be away on holiday next week and I’m fully expecting my period to arrive though.

@Natty83 I know and it always seems to be when you aren't trying or giving the least pressure/effort that it seems to work out positively.

Glad your tests are getting darker, must just be the hcg levels double in the evening for you.

I'm alright thank you, OH has been great and we're going to keep trying from this cycle. They say after a CP you are pretty fertile and I've seen lots of positive stories about trying after a CP. at the same time I'm not going to put any pressure on us though incase it doesn't happen xx

@AlleycatMarie its a tough old time, glad you’ve got distractions around you!
I always find it soooo up and down when I’m in the TWW 😞 highest highs and excitement to just misery and full depression.

Yes we have been for testing, all my bloods came back totally fine last year. DH sperm came back low count - since have had his repeated and they’re totally normal!
so that was great; then I had internal scan and they spotted I have PCO, so likely PCOS.
frustrating, as I wish I had that scan months ago, but I have since started Inofolic Apha which has great reviews and I have upped my vitamin game / diet tweaks 🙈

I won’t qualify for NHS ivf as we have a child together (7.5 years old!)
Next steps are waiting for laparoscopy NHS - and if not pregnant this cycle I might book a private HyCosy to see if I have tube blockages 🥲

6dpo today. Boobs are ever so slightly tender by that’s normal for me

@AlleycatMarie thank you for keeping the faith but I am out and on to try for a 2024 baby! Feels weird. I might start a new thread, I swear thread starters are always lucky!

@TunnocksTCake when I realised I was out at the start of this month I thought I’d create a new thread because it seems to be lucky, but then realised I was going to make the end of December in the next round 🤣🤣🤣

@lottieb92 that’s amazing that his sperm count increased!!!
We’ve had tests and nothing found so far. Thought I wouldn’t get ivf based on age, but our doctor has said we are eligible for 1 go, which is amazing! It’s just such a long process though and it got delayed because we switched hospitals (not our choice) and since they don’t communicate with one another they want to repeat all the tests 😢 xx

Hi all. 7dpo for me today. Obviously POAS because I can’t control myself and obviously a stark white bfn. My BBT has been ridiculous this cycle, all over the shop and really low for me. Barely a thermal shift. I actually did a progesterone test because I was convinced I’d not ovulation but it came back at 35, so very likely I’ve ovulated.
I don’t feel lucky this month. Really wanted a Christmas baby called Holly 🥲

@AlleycatMarie 8million to 22million! We wanted just 15mil to meet normal range! He did it by life style and vitamins (could have also just been a rouge test/ sample) but I like to hope that if he can improve his stuff.. I can improve mine! I just need some quality eggs 🙈

It’s been ups and downs the waiting / finding and I agree hospitals are extremely slow. My GP didn’t understand why we had to wait and repeat OHs tests however, I am so grateful that we did!
Use the extra time to prepare as best as you can 🤞🏻
we will be heading to IVF clinic in the summer if we don’t get there naturally before 🥰 scared but excited as it’s just one step closer in my mind!

when I was pregnant with first, granted I wasn’t trying and was very young and naive… I had Zero signs until 4/5 days late and some blue veins on my boobs 🙈
then even then I had a very very faint FRER (purchased not knowing they are the holy grail of mumsnetter)

it was so so light - I threw it away thinking it was negative!!! Oh how the times have changed… I had to get my mother to interpret it 🤣🤡 we laugh even now… anyway long story for me to just say…. You don’t always feel it… but there is still a chance you are 💗

I know, I don’t know why I torture myself 😂

I keep seeing these big pink lines on peoples’ tests and thinking wow… I can’t wait for the day I see more than a shadow 🥲

I love looking at the line eyes posts and seeing other tests as they give me so much hope!

and defo a hypocrite as I will be testing 9DPO this cycle which is Monday and likely do one every day until 14th April 🙈! And I don’t care how light that line is whenever it comes, I haven’t had even a whiff of one. I’ll be over the moon 🌙

Oh Monday will be 10dpo for me! Fingers crossed for both of us! I’ve had 3 chemicals so get the lines and then they disappear… hoping it’s my body sifting through the rubbish eggs and one of these days it’ll be a really good egg 😊
I’m impressed you can do 1 test a day! I use the strips and I think ehhhh what’s one more strip just for the afternoon…

If you do a progesterone blood test on day CD21 (based on a 28 day cycle I think) the level can indicate whether you likely ovulated or not. It’s one of the first tests that the GP does when you’ve been TTC for a long time without success. I bought a one from Medichecks as my bbt is indicating I might not have and I wanted to know if I’m having an anovulatory cycle.

I also got an AMH test from Randox. It took a while to arrive but I sent it on Tuesday and got the results lunchtime on Wednesday!

I’m the same as you, due on the 14th, no symptoms, no reason to test other than feeding an urge!

@ttcat37 interesting, thanks for that! If I don't get pregnant this cycle I'll start tracking next time altho I just didn't want they obsessed again but needs just and I'm 35 this year 🫣😂

Helloo, thought the other thread had gone weirdly quiet! I’ve been laying low anyway as I got a bit down in the dumps after last cycle and needed a mental break.

Going to try and be less active on here but still keen to see how everyone is getting on…

CD11 and we’re apart this weekend so DTD this morning and my first attempt with the Fertilily 😳 I’m a bit nervous! I’ve never used a menstrual cup so it’s a new concept for me.

technically if we’re successful it would be a 2nd Jan due date but I’m not ready to leave the Dec threads behind 😂

@ttcat37 it's defo a negative 🫣 I'm usually quite good and picking up the lines but think I'm still a bit early to test. Should of left it til tomorrow to start as I'm 6 days to AF then 😂

First time using OPKs and just had my first ‘high’ reading.

Weirdly excited to see when I’ll peak, I’m so glad it’s over the long weekend as lots of opportunity to BD!

@Mushroo that’s exciting! Is it easy@home tests?
I find I usually peak 24 hrs after a high, so testing twice daily from my first high reading! Then it shots back down quickly.

We are all different of course, but anything from now baby dancing is indeed perfect timing 🤞🏻✨
