ewcm from 1-5dpo? mean anything?

Hi ladies, i confirmed ovulation 6 days ago but since then i just constantly have ewcm. it’s not the same amount as when actually ovulating but i feel much more wet then usual when i will usually just dry up! I checked a few websites which said that if sperm and egg meet, you won’t really dry up and will continue to create more mucus to prevent any infections or harm to the pregnancy. has anyone found this to be true and got a bfp?

@lottieb92 thank you! I’m hopefully because I haven’t experienced anything like it before and I’m 100% sure if when I ovulated since I am tracking.

Yes me!! We were trying for 6 months so I absolutely knew my body and any slight changes, I had 6 days worth of ewcm and I finally got my BFP that month! Early scan yesterday confirmed a healthy little heart beat! Hope this is the same for yourself! X

Thankyou!! No I had EWCM 3 days before ovulation which I normally do and then 3 days after ovulation where I would normally be so dry! Then it turned from EWCM to clear milky creamy texture, all of which wasn’t like previous cycles so I was secretly hopeful 🤞🏽

I was TTC for two months and tracked all my symptoms. The first month I had EWCM for 3 days after ovulation and found threads on here that gave me false hope (as I didn't conceive). The next month was the same (EWCM for 3 days PO) however I did conceive that month 🤷🏻‍♀️

So I think it can be a good sign but please don't pin your hopes on it!

@TTC0123 aw wow okay! I have ewcm starting about 5-4 days before i ovulate and then totally fry up after so it feels like i’ve had it for ages now lol. I’ve been ttc for 2 years now and never had this so i’m hopeful!

@TTC0123 i’ll try not to get my hopes up too much, i think because it’s been two years and never had this happen i’m getting excited 🫣

@sugarspices aw congrats! I guess it can mean different things for different people. Because it’s so out of the norm for me, and i’ve had a lot of cramping too, i’m tentatively hopeful

i wiped again and had loads of cm that was a little bit yellow too

The only time I had CM after ovulation was when I conceived. Could have been coincidence but I don’t think it was. It wasn’t EWCM though it was creamy white mucus

I've had non-stop ewcm, I think I'm 5dpo today (decided not to temp/opk this month to "relax", wish I hadn't now) and am on day 8 of ewcm, although today it's yellowish (and more snot-like, sorry I know it's gross).

Was just wondering how you got on as it sounds like you had something similar to mine! Hope all is well in any case! X
