Anybody have a similar situation?

Hey all, just looking for some people who have been in similar situation and what their outcome was..

My cycles since BF my son have been all over but past 2/3 months come back and been between 20-34 days long. When TTC my first one I never had peak LH tests so had to guess based on CM. had my AF 1/3/23 so my apps predicted I ovulated between CD 13-15 but I think I ovulate late, more around CD 18-20. We DTD 5/6 times between those windows every 1-2 days.. when I was due my AF I noted very very small spots of pink/red blood but I’m talking 2 spots! I also had thrush around the same time so I assumed it was that and this was approx 6 days ago now I am 5 days late and have had 2 BFN 1 on the first missed day and one this afternoon. I must say I do drink a lot of fluid so wondered if it was too watered down but I figured 5 days late would be a strong result if positive.

I have only had quite moderate period cramps and quite intense dizziness (not always but intense when happens) I have also had quite a lot of EW and creamy CM for past few days since period was due.

I guess I’m just wondering if anybody has had a similar experience and gone to have a BFP or AF?

Could be that you ovulated much later than you thought and the little spots were implantation bleeding in which case give it a few days and then test again.

Alternatively, having thrush and whatever treatment you were on has impacted your period and messed it up a little perhaps.

Thank you, I also felt it could be either of those two. If it were implantation bleeding then it would be day 5 now, is that too early to see a positive test?

@LolaStanley1 I've never had implantation bleeding so can't really say. I've always done it based off ovulation and earliest I've ever had a positive was 10dpo which was 4 days before my period was due as I always come on 14 days after I ovulate.

What CD are you now? I would think if it's been more than say 20 days since you last DTD and you got a negative test today then you def won't be pregnant as sperm only lives up to 5 days and then 15 days from that would be more than enough time for implantation and a decent amount of HCG would have built up.

Ah that’s good that you are regular.

I am CD34 and DTD 12 days ago, but if I had to guess when I ovulate I’d say it was the one 15 days ago. I thought to retest at 21 days after DTD if I haven’t already come on!
