I'm really concerned with worry here. Have phoned surgery and have telephone app with gp on Thursday 6th but thats ages away.
Ovulation was around 26th /27th March so we had sex. Husband was having bother trying to cum so we were at it for about half hour . It didn't hurt at all during sex

This posted before I finished... the next morning I woke up and I've had pain since around my ovary / tube area on right side. I'm really concerned what could have happened? I had my legs up in air while doing the business. Is it possible to done damage ?

Please don't waste a GP appointment asking whether your husband has hurt your ovaries with his dick. Unless he has an incredible extendable penis it won't have gone anywhere past your vagina

Lcb123 · 31/03/2023 17:54

Sorry but please google a photo of female anatomy. Ovaries are very tucked away and to the left and right.

Creamcracker00 · 31/03/2023 17:54

I will add the pain comes and goes and sometimes it's sore to walk. It's been 3 days like this. Comes in surges of mild to moderate pain

I'm a bit confused about what you're worried about. How can sex hurt your ovary or tubes?

SliceOfCakeCupOfTea · 31/03/2023 17:54

It sounds like ovulation pain OP...his penis can't get past your cervix (no matter how big it is) let alone to your tubes...

Timealonewhatsthat · 31/03/2023 17:57

Wow some really unkind responses here

@Creamcracker00 keep your GP appt - you have every right to get checked out with these kind of symptoms - it could be anything . Endometriosis, ovarian cyst, infection. Pain during or just after sex needs investigation.

I’ll also add that this was my first symptom with an ectopic pregnancy .

Ignore the unhelpful responses . Go to your appt but if you feel worse before then go to out of hours to be seen sooner. I hope you feel better soon

Such a nasty ignorant way to speak to OP

Merryweather80 · 31/03/2023 17:58

The penis can't go further than your cervix. Have you pulled a muscle having your legs up for a while?

NBLarsen · 31/03/2023 18:04

Your lower right side - could be appendicitis! If it doesn't get better soon then call the 101 number (111?).

Could be ovulation pain, or an ovarian cyst, or endometriosis.

Are your bowel movements ok? When I'm constipated I get pain more at the front left or right.

Creamcracker00 · 31/03/2023 18:09

Ovulation passed several days ago. I never have pain with ovulation.

I never questioned if his dick hurt me. I'm not that stupid . What I was asking opinion of is if anyone thought the act of vigorous sex could hurt you , if somehow strained that area in some way or twisted it (I've a friend whos sister had a twisted ovary and had it removed a few years ago) so it is possible
Why should I not contact a gp ? As mentioned I've been having surges of pain to the extend I'm having to take painkillers and can barely walk. That's not normal. I don't know how you think this is wasting gps time. I merely asked for your opinion if you've ever heard of something like this , not to give me a hard time.
I have colitis ,i have immflamation in my intestines and bowels , aswell as a suspected swollen fallopian tube and im awaiting for laparoscopy to diagnose the problem although that has never gave me any pain before and I never even knew there was any issue until my scan. I wonder if him pushing and my immflamation has somehow done something and squeezed my bits. Its been 3 days and not getting any better. Like I said ovulation passed on 26th March I had my peak opk. This didn't start til 29th and the morning after we did it

I understand OP. I think you’ve been treated appallingly on this thread by some posters and it’s not ok.

You don’t have to justify yourself at all. With just the info in your OP it’s obvious that it’s a good idea to see the GP

I you are better soon

Nmmck93 · 01/04/2023 13:25

Hi OP.
I have endometriosis, and during / after sex I have those exact symptoms (not al the time) which then flares up for days after.
keep your GP appointment.
have you had any bleeding when you wiped after sex or the following day?

sone of the responses here have been absolutely appalling and no education on the symptoms of Endometriosis.

because what you’re describing is exactly one of the main symptoms of it!

fingers crossed for you everything is okay and was maybe just abit of rough sex.

MissKH84 · 01/04/2023 20:05

I would definitely get medical advice op. It's not normal to be experiencing pain like that after sex at all. Ignore anyone who has said otherwise. I'm really shocked at some of the responses on here. If your in pain your perfectly entilted to speak to your gp. If it gets worse I would contact out of hours

Merryweather80 · 02/04/2023 10:04

I think if you had mentioned the swollen fallopian tube and colitis at the time you wouldn’t have had some of the awful replies you have had. But to be fair it did sound like you had no understanding of anatomy.
Good luck with everything

Creamcracker00 · 06/04/2023 00:11

I never ever asked if his dick could hurt my ovary . I asked if the act of SEX could hurt your pelvic region .
The fallopian tube in which I've had the issue isn't even on the same side to where I was having the pain, and colitis comes in flare ups which I was not currently having which I why I never originally said ,I just mentioned later that I had those existing problems and wondered if colitis could have contributed. Thankyou to those who said kind things. Just to update you , the pain around my ovary / tube area became so severe and I was almost in and out of fainting episodes that the out of hours gp told me I need to go straight to a&e. It turned out I had a ruptured cyst. I'm feeling more relieved and alot better thankfully.

OP posts:
Creamcracker00 · 06/04/2023 00:15

If I hadn't of had surgery i imagine I'd be wriggling around in pain still.
I really appreciate your replies and well it's not exactly easy to think straight and explain well writing a post when your in pain

OP posts:
Timealonewhatsthat · 06/04/2023 07:21

@Creamcracker00 I’m so glad you are ok . You had some awful replies on this thread and I hope those posters hang their heads in shame after belittling someone with a genuine medical problem. No wonder women’s health issues are so stigmatised

I wish you a speedy recovery Flowers

MissKH84 · 06/04/2023 08:44

Even if op hadn't had any idea of anatomy I don't think she deserved those replies. They could have been kinder and explained and not made childish comments about an expendable penis. You've no idea about someone , op could have had a learning difficulty or anything.
