Has anyone else had a cycle like this with success please? ...

Hello,

So I am on my second full normal (ish) cycle since a loss last year, according to my fertility chart I am 3dpo.

But a few things are different:
I am having a very slow rise on my bbt since ovulation, I had positive opk's for multiple days and lots of ewcm for over a week.

So I feel like my body was trying very hard but didn't ovulate. Just feeling a bit deflated with everything. Has anyone else had a slow temp rise with success? Or lots of positive opks with no clear 1 day positive and a successful cycle?

I know this is a bit long so thank you in advance for reading 🙂

This was my BFP cycle.

Never thought this would be the one which I would get pregnant on.

Took me 2 years and 5 mc to get to it and now have a one year old 😊 Keep going

Has anyone else had a cycle like this with success please? ...

@emmatcc1 So normally I get my temperature drop and then the day after, my temp jumps right up to 36.60 and above and my temps remain high until day of af.

This cycle after the temp drop it only went up to 36.25 then next day 36.40 then 36.50 etc.

Has anyone else had a cycle like this with success please? ...

Theres nothing wrong with slow rises maybe the egg was viable for a longer period. I heard so many stories of the weird cycle being the one. I'm also having a weird cycle it took 3 rises to get above all the previous temperatures. The temp drop happens just before an egg is released and the first rise when it has been released. No matter the slow or fast rise it only happens if you ovulate because progesterone rises your temperature. Anovulatory charts stay the same through the whole cycle.

@emmatcc1 Thank you for your reply, I didn't know that it would stay the same if no egg.

And adding the multiple opks and so much ewcm I though I was out for sure.

Hoping this weird cycle is the one for you too then! How many dpo are you?

It's so funny I ovulated on my partner and I anniversary and my period is due on my birthday also my sister in law is due with her baby on my bday. Would really be amazing for this cycle to be it.

@emmatcc1 That would be lovely if you got a bfp just before the baby was born too, would make the broodiness a bit easier to deal with 🥰

I have had a bbt dip this morning now. It's all so confusing, I felt hopeful yesterday not today I am thinking this isn't a good sign of ovulation, have made another post to see if anyone else has had this... trying not to obsess, clearly unsuccessfully lol.

Not sure what it would be how do you measure bbt I figured this morning that orally mine was 35.9 which couldn't be right so I did it vaginally and it was 36.8 so I'll continue that way.

Mine is an oral thermometer so under the tongue as soon as I wake. It's been accurate for me this far but I haven't had a dip at this point or a slow rise like this cycle so maybe this is just my cycle still getting back to normal after last year and next month will be a more normal one.

How are things going for you?

My bbt is still rising but I'm already going insane over cm and slightly sore boobs but it's weird because they haven't really gone down since last cycle

@emmatcc1 That's good that it is still rising 👍🏻but the other symptoms make things so much harder to wait don't they. Do you mean your b's are still sore from last cycle? When would you normally test?

Mine aren't sore yet, no symptoms that I can think of yet. I really can't figure this cycle out, hopefully bbt rises again tomorrow or I think it will defo be a bad sign.. despite that, I think i'm going to test Wed at 9dpo if I can wait. Lol.

They usually get bigger and sore a couple days before af and then go back to normal on cd 1-2 but they stayed bigger since last cycle and got a bit sore again a day before ovulation and are still sore and I have a feeling like they're getting even bigger. I don't do pregnancy tests just wait if af arrives or not.

Hi @emmatcc1 Just sore breasts started but I always get that the days before my period so it doesn't mean anything.

My chart went back up but not very high.

What about you? How are you feeling?

I'm still having creamy cm along with sore boobs. I'm 7 dpo tommorow so getting excited for any implantation signs.

I tested this morning, wish I didnt, but my dc1 was up early coughing and I had all this free time lol, got a bfn. I know it's very early and I will try again tomorrow but I got a bfp at 8dpo last year so feeling like i'm prob going to be out

I'm feeling out as well last night when I tried to sleep I got horrible lower back pain just like period cramps then I turned around and also got uterus pain It was like a first day of period.
Every pregnancy is different and 8dpo is really early for a test.

@emmatcc1 My first symptoms with my dc were lower back ache! That and cramping were the main symptoms I had until the nausea started at about 7 weeks so could be a good sign :)

I will test again in the morning but it was very white this morning not even a shadow
