So, last month I got a UTI after a BD marathon week- hazard of the job! Took antibiotic for it during TWW. Then at about 11 dpo I started getting a mixture of BFP and stark negatives (on both frer and cheapies). Extensive googling told me the uti medication may cause false positives so i thought that explained the mixture of test results i was getting. Then period arrived couple of days later so I though nothing more about it.

This month, I was using clearblue digital opk and didn't get a smiley at all (testing once a day). Never happened me before. Then 8 days before my period is due I got strong BFP on 4 different types of test. Going by my typical cycle I'd have been about 7-8 dpo. I was surprised it was so clear so early, and because I thought I might not have ovulated this month. CB says 1-2 weeks.

Now I'm afraid that the positives in Feb were real but it is not developing properly so hcg is still low now.

So my question is- what happens when you take a clear blue opk if you're pregnant? Would it show positive like the cheapies or show negative because your LH baseline never changes

Experiments from preggos welcome 😁
