Ovulation day 42 . Chances of a successful pregnancy

Just wondering has anyone ovulated super late and had a successful pregnancy?
I have pcos and have only recently started ovulating naturally a few months ago and once chemical pregnancy since that we lost shortly after the 2 weeks. In past few months I ovulated from day 20 -30 but this month I think I might currently be ovulating and it's day 42.
I've read that anything after day 21 would result in poor quality 'old ' egg that wouldn't fertilise or implant properly so I'm wondering had anyone had a successful pregnancy from actually ovulating this late

I’ve ovulated today too- day 37- so I can’t help but I’m interested in the replies you get! It didn’t really occur to me we couldn’t get pregnant - but I did read something about over thickened uterus recently (presumably because built up too long?) I’ve definitely seen people on here say they got pregnant on a long cycle!

I don't think late ovulation makes a difference. I ovulated on day 25 (tracking with ovulation tests and temp) and I got pregnant with DS 14mo.

Hi, I have PCOS and this is our first cycle trying for our third.

When we had our second I was on cycle day 80 when I got a BFP so ovulation would’ve been around CD66. I had just come off contraception so I’m not sure if that was the cause of the late ovulation there.

I’m currently cycle day 61 and 2DPO.

Our first was a surprise so I’ve no idea but my cycles were a lot better back then.
