Has anyone with endo ever gotten pregnant at 40 with IVF (and with out a laporoscopy)??

Hello All
I wondered if anyone could help. I’m 40 with a failed IVF cycle at ARGC in December. I have stage 2 endo with a couple of cysts, one on one of my ovaries . On Dr Sapnas advice, I saw a doctor for an in depth pelvic ultrasound and he said surgery would be too risky and could diminish my egg reserve and I’d also worry about downtime post op given my age.
I wondered if there was anyone in here around 40 with the same stage endo that had managed to have a successful IVF? He said my chances are 3% natural conception and 30% chance with IVF so looking for help and advice of what anyone did differently to help with successful IVF conception
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give xxxx

Honestly can't help I'm sorry but I'd like to follow the thread. I was supposed to be having laproscopy for diagnosis but he said he would clear out any endo tissue while there. I haven't been diagnosed with endo just possibly suspected . I was told I'd need the surgery to actually get diagnosed? Where you diagnosed without a laproscopy?
I'm 37 and had one chemical pregnancy in dec. It does concern me that perhaps it didn't implant but I also worry about the possible risks of having laproscopy. I'm due to start ivf hopefully end of year but I'd kinda just like to ignore the surgery but I don't know of that would negatively affect success

Hello @MK85

Sorry to hear about your chemical. I was recommended to Dr Dimitri at
https://ultragyn.co.uk/ following my failed IVF at ARGC. They told me to book in for 3D scan to check my level of endo. It was evident throughout my treatment with them as cysts on all the scans. He wasn’t able to see some areas of the suspected endo but was able to diagnose the stage and severity of it. I needed a referral email from ARGC for the appointment but it might be worth calling up the ultrasound clinic to ask for an appointment. It was £330 I believe xxxx

I am so worried about the future and now with potential endo diagnosis which i suspected i might have had but now convinced i do. Any updates would be great to hear. sending love xx
