Is this a normal part of cycle?

Hi everyone.

So this is my third month off the pill and ttc, we’re taking a relaxed approach to it and not tracking my cycle as such but I do have the flo app.

Im currently cd19, predicted ovulation was cd14 but I have no idea if I did actually ovulate. For the last few days each morning for a few hours I’m constantly having to go pee, after my first morning wee there’s only a little coming out but the feeling of needing to go is so strong. I don’t think it’s a UTI as I’m not having any pain at all and it only seems to be happening on a morning then settles the rest of the day. Has anyone had this as a normal symptom at any stage in their cycle?

Im really hoping it settles as I’m a dental nurse and currently running to the loo between patients 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thank you

I had this when I was early stages trying to get pregnant, it turns out it was a uti but I had no pain when going to the toilet. It was more of a bacterial infection.

I also used flo when I was first trying to get pregnant and would dtd when it suspected I was ovulating. I decided to start using ovulation kits and found out that I ovulated at a totally different time to when flo suggests. Flo works on an algorithm of when it thinks the typical women would ovulate based on your cycle length but everyone is different so I suggest throng ovulation kits so you can see if you ovulate early or late.

Hi OP!
I get UTIs a lot but with each one I never experience any pain, but the urge to use the bathroom is constant.
I’m on TTC 2 - last month I used an 3 apps, all said I was to ovulate on the same day so assumed it was right, this month I was constantly using OPKs but where negative / low around my fertile window. I’m now CD18 and my OPKs yesterday where insanely high so assumed I ovulated between last night and today so the app has been completely wrong in saying when I was to ovulate.

I do like the Premom app as you can upload your OPKs onto it and it gives you a number as shown below (not sure if you’re familiar with it)
I would advise maybe trying a month with OPKs and seeing what cycle day you get your peak just so you can determine if the app has been correct.
good luck & lots of baby dust to you.

Thank you for your replies @Hiddenvoice @Nmmck93 !
Did any of you have the symptoms only on a morning?

ahh I know that flo won’t be exactly accurate, I don’t want to start testing for ovulation yet as I don’t want to become obsessed when we’ve just started trying. My partner works away 4 days on 4 off so we dtd most nights he’s home anyway so hopefully that would be enough obviously depending if it would fall on a day he’s home or not.

I probably will start testing if nothing happens after a few more months 🙂
