good news and not so good news

The good news is that I finally went to my GP surgery today to have some blood tests done to see what my hormone levels are like. Husband and I have been TTC for 3.5 years.
The not so good news is that I recently noticed that a mole has changed in appearance and I'm now on the two week wait pathway, which is basically to see if it's cancerous or not.
I'm feeling quite isolated and alone at the moment.

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. The wait must be horrible. Easy to say but try to remain positive. A mole can be removed and might not mean it would spread if it was to be cancerous. Glad you're getting tests done too for TTC. Would you consider IVF?

Thank you for replying.
I'm getting through it, feeling up and down, going to my usual support groups like my carers group.
The wait for the skin clinic is strange, so unexpected.
I got my hormone test results already and apparently I might be menopausal, again unexpected as I'm having regular periods.
It's a lot to deal with all at once so I'm glad of my support network.
