Anyone else had a BFN day period is due?

Usually like clockwork. I was due on my period yesterday but AF didn't show so tested, BFN. Tested again this morning and same thing! With my previous babies I got a line before or on the day of a missed period. It might be my body is a bit out of whack this month though! Anyone else in the same boat?

Hi, I'm in the exact same boat, was due on yesterday, thought I could see hint of a line when I tested, but not with FMU, but disappeared when test dried. Woke up in the night with cramping as if AF was coming, so didn't bother testing this morning, but period hasn't showed up yet and cramping all gone?!

Ugh yes. I'm cramping too, my boobs are tingling, I'm bloated, I feel sick - all the classic signs but I also get it sometimes when I'm due on so basically symptom spotting is of absolutely no use at all.

Could you test again today with an early response? I'll be testing again tomorrow anyway if AF hasn't shown up by then. It definitely sounds like something showed up for you! Could you have another look at the test or did you throw it? Keep me updated! It's nice not to feel alone haha.

30 years ago, when early pregnancy testing meant waiting a few days after your missed period (imagine!), I had one or two times when TTC, when my normally clockwork period would be a few days late, and would then arrive, a bit heavier than usual. I wondered if that meant I had conceived but it hadn't quite 'stuck'.
Maybe nowadays this would be the 'possible faint line but it disappears' scenario?

There's a lot to be said for just waiting until AF is definitely properly late, before testing! That's the best indicator of pregnancy, after all...Good luck to all who are TTC!

Yes definitely symptom spotting, feeling sick tired, heavy boobs. Sure I'm just imagining imagining it though!!
Only have cheapie tests left, so may have to go out and try and buy a more sensitive one if nothing happens today!
This is the test, which I threw away, no idea whether an evap or it was flooded maybe?!

Hi @Shopaholic29 did you test again today? I did and BFN! But absolutely no sign of AF. So frustrating. I feel like I can see something on your photo, although it does look a little flooded. Anymore symptoms?

@noooy yep did another test this morning and at around lunch time - both bfn!!! :( same no sign of AF either, beginning to think maybe I didn't ovulate, or have bit much later than usual, no idea, just want something to happen!!

@Shopaholic29 how strange! I'm thinking similar, glad I've got someone to chat about it with though. I've even gone back to look at the tests and nope, both as white as my winter legs

I'm still getting occasional cramping but it's like everything's just tapered off, boobs no longer hurt either. According to my FLO app I'm still within the realms of normal (I.e a woman's cycle can vary by up to 7 days) so I'm glad about that. I'd just like to know one way or the other!

@noooy I must have gone and looked at mine about 5 times today, still nothing

I had one cycle that was 32 days last year (every other has been 27/28) so I'm thinking maybe it'll come tomorrow and I can start again! Hate the wait! Don't know whether to bother testing tomorrow or just leave it now?!

@Shopaholic29 Haha oh god it's too tempting to keep looking isn't it. Step away from the tests!! I convinced myself I could see something but there is nothing there so I've chucked them all away before I go crackers. Decided I'm not going to test tomorrow as it's getting a bit disheartening. I might wait until the end of the week. What about you?

Yes, had to wait til 3 days after for a positive, am 18 weeks now

@noooy I know the number of tests I've done now, driving myself mad!! Had cramping and a bit of spotting this morning, so think it's just waiting for AF to come now 😔 how you getting on, manage to not test this morning?

@Shopaholic29 Oh bless you I'm sorry! Did you test again today? I haven't tested, but my cramps are getting really bad. I keep dashing off to the loo to see if I've come on. My boobs are absolutely killing me and they're so sore, which unfortunately is also typical for AF so I also have a feeling it's on the way! However we're not completely out, so still have a bit of hope. >clutching at straws<

I might test again tomorrow if AF still hasn't arrived but it feels like such a waste of money!

Thanks @riotlady and congratulations! I have a feeling it's just a long cycle for me this time around. I keep reading stories and it either goes one of two ways. One lady didn't get her BFP Until 8 days later! So until AF is here I won't give up just yet.

@noooy AF has arrived with full force this morning! Someone on another thread shared this with me, so I suppose your not out til AF actually shows! 🤞🏼

@Shopaholic29 oh no. That's so rubbish to hear I'm sorry! I'm picking up some more tests today, I'm now "officially" one day late on my Flo app so I'm thinking if I don't get a BFP by now that's it! I'm cramping up so much yet absolutely nothing it's bizarre. I feel I'm only "just" in the game still. Best of luck for you next month
