Confused, do you think this is actually positive

Hi all. Really, really confused right now, and it is all my own fault. I've been doing cheapy strip tests after my embryo transfer, and they've all been negative, but I stupidly kept them and there is a clear line progression on the old tests (I know, I'm not supposed to read the result after five minutes). This morning even during the five minutes I could see some kind of line - really wasn't sure whether it had any colour or not, so I was going mad. I'm now 8dp5dt, so equivalent to 12 days post ovulation, or cycle day 26.

I went out and bought a couple of early response tests. The first one behaved weirdly and didn't look right so after the five minutes I could see something but wasn't sure, so I dipped it again. At 10 minutes there was a faint pink line. I still didn't trust it so did a second test. At the recommended 5min just "something" but still don't know if it was a result or just an evaporation line.

This is a picture taken at 10 minutes after doing the bottom test on fmu. I know ten minutes is too late and you are supposed to ignore the result. But would you ignore it or would you get excited and trust that it's positive? The cheap strip is 3h old in this pic and the middle test 1h.

They look like positive tests to me. 😊

Maybe worth getting a clear blue one that says is as clear as day!

I can absolutely see lines! Can you get a digital one? Then there's no guessing xx

Twoinapod · 17/03/2023 13:20

Don’t use digital yet as they’re not as sensitive. Get a frer or I found boots early results really good. Make sure you use fmu or at least a few hours hold to be able to see a definite line

Ah I didn't know this, good to know! I've heard FRER are good too x
