Hey lovely ladies!

I saw a few other similar threads, but didn't know if anyone would join me for the TWW (I'm driving myself crazy) and if anyone else is hoping for that BFP this month!

@HannahLouD I think the tests look the same in the photo lovely. I've seen many people on here though that have said their test is lighter the next day but go on to have healthy pregnancies. Don't forget HCG doubles every 2 days so your HCG levels may still be the same as yesterdays xx

@Angelselevenx completely agree! I think stop testing if you can this week (I know that's really hard!!) and embrace what it is for now xx

How're you doing? 8dpo today and did a test with second wee (woke up early on first wee and didn't think to do one) and BFN xx

@Angelselevenx not too bad! Couldn’t help myself and tested again. 😭 why do we do it?!
frer came up mega faint within 2 mins and a Cb looked proper negative. 20 mins later we have a faint line. Xx

@HannahLouD at this early stage, so much can effect the amount of hcg in your urine -hydration, hold time, etc. Hcg is so low you won't see a great amount of change right at the start. If your hcg levels were, say, 6 yesterday (so can just be detected by a first response) they may only be 9 today, so still barely detectable.

The wine WILL NOT have caused a chemical, so don't beat yourself up about that.

Try to relax, give yourself a few days and test again. Take care of yourself xx

Hi all thank you so much for all of your love and support... It really, genuinely means a lot! 💕
My first test yesterday was with smu so after my slightly lighter fmu test this morning, I (stupidly) tested again with a 3.5 hour hold with smu... There is no doubt that this would have been concentrated as I didn't have a drink all morning so I could see (so the last time I had a drink before both my tests this morning was last night!) And it's even lighter than my test with fmu... I'm going to try not to test for a couple more days (if AF doesn't arrive before then!) And stop comparing tests just 24 hours apart. I know in my heart this is going to be another chemical though... The past couple of days I finally had some creamy cm and I'm not back to dry and my sore/tingly nipples have gone too.
We shall see... Hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. Thanks again everyone... This has been a lifeline!x

(I know they look very similar in the photo but irl there's an obvious difference!)

(Super dark opk though 😅 - I can absolutely hands down say they pick up pregnancy as the same thing happened last month too! Not that I recommend using them as a pregnancy test, of course 🙈)

Unfortunately it's another chemical... There's no change at all in 48 hours 💔 I'm trying really hard not to blame myself but I'm finding it really difficult not to. Hadn't had a drop of alcohol for a month and the day before my bfp I go and blow it... I know nothing was connected or anything but I can't imagine basically poisoning my body could have done any good... I'm so not having any more in this ttc journey so I don't feel this horrible guilt again.

Onto our fourth month of trying, and hopefully next time I get my bfp it'll be third time lucky and will finally be a sticky one 🤞🙏😞
I really hope no one else has been through this or similar, but if they have and have any success stories after 2 losses (find it a bit difficult calling these losses as they were sooo early... Last one was only at 5 weeks so feel a bit like a fraud saying it) but please do let me know! I'm starting to worry now and give up hope... x

Lastly things I've learnt these past 3 months that may or may not be of help to anyone...

• Opk peaks - Having a "strong" peak opk means nothing... I had one that was basically only just as strong as the control line and got pregnant, I also had one much stronger than the control line and got pregnant.
• How "strong" the line is on the first bfp you get doesn't nessecarily mean anything. I got a vvfl at 10dpo last month which progressed really well for a few days. This month I got a fairly obviously line at 10dpo which hasn't progressed at all.
• Symptoms - they can be different everytime so don't rule yourself out if you don't feel the same as you did in a previous pregnancy.
• BBT charting - mine have looked very different for both chemical pregnancies and looked different the first month trying too (when I didn't fall) so don't pin everything on that! The only pattern I have seen is that I personally have a dip in temperature the day before ovulation. Never had an implantation dip or anything.
• Easy at home strips (opks) defo pick up a pregnancy! This has happened to me twice. Even this morning the test line is wayyy darker than the control line.
• The pregnancy test easy at home strips are really slow at progressing, but both times for me have still shown some minor progression even when having a cp. This is the same if using opks as well (I know you shouldn't!) This has happened to me both months.

Me again guys (I'm so so sorry!) Feel like I need to take you all on this journey with me...
I stupidly did another test with smu and the line is much darker... Surely this is just a dodgey test!? There is no way at all it can change that much from 6am this morning to 10.30 this morning? Especially when there's been no progression in between?! I'm so confused and I'm stupidly getting my hopes up a tiny bit now... I'm sure they'll just come crashing back down in the morning when I test again though. I don't understand... It must just be a bad test!? Why didn't I splash out on frer instead?! Hahaa
(10dpo-12dpo smu and 12dpo fmu and smu)

@HannahLouD some people get darker lines with 2/3/4 urine of the day over fmu... it depends how your body metabolises hcg. The last test looks a very good, clear line and much more positive than the first couple of days that you tested. I'm very hopeful for you. Try to relax and stepaway from the tests for a couple of days!

although I am not test for my ovulation the apps are telling me between 22nd and 24th so dtd 3 times in and around so hoping we have done enough,

im 32 partner already has 2 older children, this is our first month trying

today is between dpi 6-8 and I’m going insane, I feel a little sickie today but nothing major, 🤞

@HannahLouD look at that dark line!!!! I really think this is your sticky bean! Could you request bloods with your GP?

That looks really good! It’s definitely got darker which is a good sign.

Hi ladies hope you don’t mind me joining, I’m new to these forums but I can’t take keeping this all to myself any longer.

I am TTC #1 and have been for a couple of years on and off, I was diagnosed with Endometriosis stage 3-4 last year however they removed it and my surgeon was confident I’d fall naturally after surgery.

I have been using OPK’s, had my positive around 20 days ago… AF was 1 week late this month which is very unusual, so as you do, I had my hopes up thinking my dream had finally come true. However this morning I have a very light pink discharge and cramps, so I’m guessing AF is coming. Absolutely heartbroken 💔 how do we all cope with this? I’m really struggling and it’s taking over my life every single month. I’m also worried about potential eptopic/chemical pregnancy this month? As AF not anywhere near as heavy as it usually is…. Yet

@HannahLouD That line looks so strong! I think you should request bloods from your Doctor or you might keep driving yourself crazy by taking more tests. Feeling really positive for you again! ❤️

I had a proper squinter yesterday at 12 dpo, DH couldn't see anything. I guess that I'm just someone who is slow to show up on a pregnancy test, as I only got a positive after I missed my period with DD. Reassured that I haven't gone mad and was seeing a line this morning when I saw these results!
