I’ve just started tracking my BBT this month, on CD13 and been taking supplements for a few weeks now, anyone else on their second cycle?

@ElleJones1 could you just be spotting as part of the middle of your cycle? When I was on hormonal BC I would spot every month around ovulation.

Yeah, I think going from what I've seen online some people only catch it once and end up testing 2/3 times a day to try and catch it. Although my surge I seem to have for two days which is also normal apparently. They also say to test in the afternoon as you're more likely to be positive later in the day.

It's all confusing isn't it and there are so many opinions etc. I'm testing twice a day at the moment to try catch my positive as my apps are saying I'll ovulate anywhere between Saturday and Monday but we shall see. I think for me I just want to check I'm ovulating as I was on HBC for so long x

Yeah I agree. I don't really know with my cycle at the moment with everything that went on so I'll stop the testing and just enjoy it for what it is and keep my fingers tightly crossed! x

so this definitely proves the result can change in the same day! I just had this feeling, tummy cramps and EWCM….. maybe we overthink and we should have faith in knowing our bodies xx

@ElleJones1 you're gunna have to wake him up 😂. Sooo true! I did wonder if you had spotting as a symptom of ovulation! X

Morning! Yay, another flashing smile this morning, feeling much more optimistic about this cycle and being back to normal! Here's hoping it works out! Fingers tightly crossed!! I'm ignoring every other day advice and just going for it! (sorry TMI!!) x

@ElleJones1 go for it I say!! Super happy you've got another flashing smile. So does that mean you're due to ovulate and then peak has a solid smile? Sorry I don't know how those work.

Still testing, not hit peak yet and my temp hasn't started to rise yet either but going by natural cycles app it's saying CD 20 I'll ovulate which is Monday so I still have plenty of time. We've both come down with a bloody cold yesterday, but hopefully be gone by the time we need to DTD. Planning on cracking on again from tomorrow x

Ah that's good, the weekend to get over the cold and then go for it!! Yay!

So a solid smile is peak and apparently you get flashing for a few days as it rises but I'm not willing to miss the boat..... so taking every smile as a green light! x

@ElleJones1 I'm going to try it tonight so at least I'm covered for the next couple of days 🤣🤣🤣 and then go again from Sunday unless I get a peak reading over the weekend.

Yes definitely a good idea! Have you tested anymore today? I normally get my surge in the evenings so I'll go test in a bit x

No, I’ve read a real mixed bag for this, some people have a couple days, some have 6! 🤦🏼‍♀️
I’ll do another one tomorrow and let you know….. so much for me not testing 😂 xx

@ElleJones1 hmm when do the apps say you're going to ovulate? Cause you'd expect a solid smiley the day before expected ovulation right? X

Hey, it says tomorrow.... I'll do another one tonight. I've checked and flashy still indicated high fertility so still feeling hopeful xx

@ElleJones1 maybe you'll get the solid tomorrow that would indicate ovulation on Sunday? Keep testing!!

My tests are starting to get ever so slightly darker now so I think I'll be ovulating Monday as I thought x

That's what I'm hoping for! I assume we're still able to catch it even now at high fertility?? I'm knackered 😂x

@ElleJones1 it can live in ideal conditions up to 5 days so I think so! X

Annoyingly the strip ones literally are finter than they've ever been!! AGHHHHHH! Do I just trust the CB?? x

@ElleJones1 what's finter?? Hmm it's a hard one, did they say the CB are to be used from day 1 of cycle so it can measure the LH levels from day 1? The internet ovulation tests are normally quite trustworthy I think... but that's only cause that's all I've used! It highlights the level of LH and if positive is stronger than the control line x

Oh sorry, I meant fainter! 😂
Yeah I think I may have started testing too late but I figured it would only flash a smile if it detected the LH anyway??xx
