Period 3 days late, negative pregnancy test

Not sure what I'm looking for here other than to have a rant.
Partner and I have been TTC our first for 9 months now. I feel naive now when I think back to how quickly we thought it would happen.
My periods have been very regular since I came off the pill 9 months ago, generally spotting around day 24 onwards and then period starts properly day 28.
I'm currently day 31 of my cycle, no spotting or anything. Did a pregnancy test a couple of nights ago, negative. I wish my period would just fucking get on with it now, to be honest.

Maybe try another test now if it’s been a couple of days since you did the last one.

When I conceived in November (which unfortunately ended in a miscarriage), I didn’t get my bfp until 2 days after my missed period.

Try a different test OP.
I feel like our bodies play up when ttc.

I also didn't get a faint test until day after missed period and took until I was 3 days late to get a good strong line. I would test again. Also try and do it with FMU if you can wait until the morning x

Funny enough, a few hours after I posted this I got cramps and spotting, proper period no doubt on its way.

Fingers crossed for next month.

I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage, I hope you're doing better now. I've not been through it yet but I imagine it's very hard x
