I always come on 14 days after I ovulate, I ovulated 15 days ago so am only just late but still...

I know I can't be pregnant (have been ttc for almost three years now so not a chance) but if I don't come on soon I will feel obliged to go and waste money on a test which I know will be negative.

so you all need to use your powers to bring on my af, and to slap me so that I don't go and buy a test .

WannaBe, the problem is, no matter how much you tell yourself that, there is always a niggle in the back of your mind. We've all been there (though to varying degrees), we all know it isn't over until AF arrives, we all know it is perfectly possible to get BFN after BFN and still be pregnant.

It is whether you would rather see the BFN after BFN until hopefully a BFP is staring you you in your face, or if you think could just wait until AF shows up.

Do you feel any symptoms? Even that is almost pointless, we all also know how easy it is to talk yourself into symptoms.

Would it be worth asking your GP for the blood test's?

No the gp won't do a blood test. remember that period I skipped a couple of years back? when the gp said she would eat her hat if I wasn't pg? and then the hospital said they didn't test for pg.

I do have tender-ish boobs but that could equally be a sign of af as anything else so I try not to go there in terms of simptoms.

part of me wants to do a test just to get it over with and part of me thinks that it's just not money well spent - I could probably have paid off a hefty chunk of my mortgage with the money I've given to clearblue and co over the past three years .

you need to look a it that yes, it could be 50% bfn but it could also be 50% bfp!!

You wont settle until you have done one and if your like me you wont be sleeping anytime soon either until you've done it so go go go run to the chemist
