If I’m a week late for period does that mean I ovulated a week late ?

Hi guys ! So Sunday I got a bfp ! But I was 6 days late for my period before I got a positive . So by my last period I would be 5 weeks 4 days . But if I was 6 days late , would that make me earlier ? I’m so confused ! I have an early scan next week and I’m worried that I’m actually gonna be a week behind and not see anything on scan ! Anyone any knowledge? :)

Potentially. I didn't get a positive until around cycle day 31 to 32. When I went for a private scan (was almost 10 weeks) they moved my due date back a few days and same again when I had 12 week NHS scan so I ended up a full week later than my original date. However after birth the midwife said that because our baby had very dry skin she was likely not 2 days over due but more like a week which took me back to my original date. Are you going for a scan bang on the 6 or 8 week mark?

Oh wow @Tryingtoconceivenumber2 interesting ! 6 weeks was hoping , which would be about right next week by my last period . But now I think I’m gonna be behind a few days / week and see nothing on scan !

Perhaps go about 5 days or so later to be sure x
