Was devastated after MMC in October and had to have the ERPC operation, have been trying since then and was so happy after missing period and getting a clear positive last week. It’s now faded to nearly nothing and so I am waiting to miscarry. It’s just so disheartening and time isn’t on my side I’m 35 in August. They say it’s usually a one off event but I’m worried this is just the beginning of more failures. Is there any hope?!

I had the same thing. A missed m/c with HB at 7 weeks and no HB at 8 weeks. Then had what would've been classified as a CP. It wasn't even a positive and then negative, it was a week of positives that were darkening and then just stopped darkening and started fading.
I'm 22 weeks now and sending you all the positivity 🌸
When it happens, it's hard to believe there can ever be a happy ending. And when you're pregnant again, it's just constant worry which doesn't end with either 12w or 20w scan.
Don't give up ❤️

Thats exactly what’s happened to me too. Tests darker over 4 days but not significantly darker and now just faded to nothing 😭Sat feeling like death waiting for the next part hoping it won’t be too bad. Thank you so much for responding with encouraging words, pregnancy loss is a horrible new world I could have done without being introduced to!! Really glad it’s happened for you now and wishing you all the best 🌻

I had at least 5 chemicals and a missed miscarriage. Low dose aspirin seemed to do the trick and I have two dd’s

spaghettihoops88 · 23/02/2023 12:36

Thank you and so sorry you have had to go through that. Did you ask anybody whether you should take the low dose aspirin/were you advised to, or did you just start taking it? I am lucky in that my hospital offers consultations and testing after 2 miscarriages rather than 3 but the waiting list is 9 months long!! Someone else mentioned progesterone but again unsure if or why that would help. It is impossible to get answers at this stage from medical professionals, they just brush you off as “it’s so common” 😣

So sorry for your loss Flowers.

I had a mmc in April 2019 and then conceived my now 2.5 year old DD in December 2019. I then fell pregnant again in April 2022 after another 8 months of ttc and am feeding my 9 week old DS.

Hope this gives you some hope that you can have your happy ending Flowers
