Hi. Anyone taking clomid ? I’m on my TTC2 with clomid starting from today again. First time was unsuccessful hopefully this month will be more lucky

Hi all, just picking up from the end of this thread to say hi 👋🏼 I am on my first round of Clomid. Currently CD9 and had my first tracking scan this morning which didn’t show any follicle growth… so you guys think this is normal? Nurse said it’s still early days. I have another scan on CD13 and I’m nervous now!

@acttc93 I had a scan on cd9 and he told me that's far too early for the scan. It should be performed on day 12 13 or 14 ideally. Follicle growth increases rapidly.
I wasn't offered a second scan but I did ovulate on cd 19

@Ks2023 this is what I worry about. I am 43 TTC, I have short cycles, but haven't so far got pregnant. Wondering about going to a fertility clinic but I am not keen on taking a whole load of hormones that might risk my mental health, which is somewhat fragile anyway. What were the side effects?
