Period is 11 days (and counting) late!

Hi All!

My periods are usually regular and currently 11 days late, Ive done few pregnancy tests and all negative, unfortunately cant remember when I ovulated :(

On Wednesday I had really bad cramps so thought its my period but nothing..

Has anyone experienced this before? Any vlate bfp stories?

It could be a late implantation, but sometimes our cycles muck up with no real reason. It is very frustrating. I’d give it another few days and test again, incase Wednesday was implantation

My doctor told me you can completely miss 2-3 periods a year for absolutely no reason

@Enn1234 I once had an anovulatory cycle - think it lasted 42 days and I tested a couple of times as felt like symptoms throughout. When my period finally came it looked like a breakthrough bleed - bright red, not my usual period. It was the month after I submitted my PhD thesis and I think I was so stressed my body just said 'nope!!' thankfully all returned to normal afterwards. As the poster above said, you can sometimes get these things randomly too 🤷🏼‍♀️ if you were pregnant I'd be surprised if it didn't show up at 11 days late, even if you'd implanted later than you thought - sorry! You never know though - deffo talk it over with your GP. Good luck!

My AF is currently 11 days late! I have no idea what is going on, but I ovulated 11/12 days late. At the time I thought that the increased CM was AF coming (I ovulated 2 days before my AF due date) then I realised it must have been ovulation. I only had a scant bit of stretchy cm a couple of days after ovulation was due, then nothing, until just before I was meant to get AF.

My friend who is a fertility educator said that the first bit of cm was probably my body trying to ovulate, but then it changed it's mind and tried again later.

I was going to do a test this morning, but forgot! I last tested Wednesday, which was bfn.

Oh, for the last 2 cycles I've been taking proceive vitamins. I've heard that they can delay ovulation.

Was hoping to be pregnant but this may just be an anovulatory cycle :(

I took pregnacare last month and that delayed my period but only by couple of days
This time round I only took folic acid and vit D
Wonder if its there any correlation between folic acid and missed period

AF arrived this morning 😭
