Has anyone had stronger results in the evening or is this a chemical?

I tested positive on Monday evening around 8pm with an easy @ home and a frer which was 11dpo. Been checking with easy @ home but they haven’t changed much, got a 1-2 weeks on CB yesterday and I think I’m due AF today so I did another FRER this morning but it’s not any darker. Now I’m panicking that it’s a chemical, has anyone had better results testing in the evening or do I need to stop clutching at straws?

It is a possibility unfortunately, but the only way to know for sure is to wait it out and see if they get darker. x

@Twoinapod if you're only due AF today then it's still very early days and your HCG levels might not have gone up massively yet. I don't test until a missed period so I wouldn't have any clue on line progression up to 15dpo but this might be really normal! Unfortunately only time can tell. I know it's awful but you will just have to wait it out... Sending hugs and patience your way!

Thanks ladies, they always seem to get darker after I’ve left them a while, todays test is now very slightly darker than Mondays. With my other two I only ever tested in af date and got strong positives. Really don’t advise this testing early lark. It’s driving me mad, just want to see a nice dark line so I can relax a little

@Twoinapod ah bless you! Yeah I'm currently 10dpo and seeing all the anxious posts from early testers has strengthened my resolve to hold off until AF due. It's so hard though isn't it! Wishing you all the best and hope you get that lovely dark and unquestionable line asap!!

just thought I’d update, tested this evening with a CB and got a really nice line come up really quickly. I’m wondering if I had a bad batch of frer. Had a slightly darker line on the strip test too so I think I do test better in the evening. Feeling so much more relaxed now.
